Oslo - Southern Norway Holiday Rentals

"Considering Norway (or Scandinavian countries in general) has a rep for being expensive, I think it was reasonably priced for what I got. I was only there for one night so I cant go too in depth, but was positive from what I experienced, I had a single room to myself, with a comfy bed, a bathroom and a kitchenette (I believe you can lend kitchen pots and pans for a deposit) it was like having my own little studio apartment in Oslo!"

While not central to the older city centre, the harbour area is an exceptionally well planned redevelopment of old industrial lands to new residential and retail/restaurant area anchored by the stunning new Oslo Opera House, and Munch Museum. Transit to all destination is available from the main bus station a few minutes...

"The apartment exceeded our expectations and certainly met our needs. We had a bit of difficulty accessing the property with the App when we checked it but the problem was resolved within 30 minutes. We also were without a TV for couple of nights. The problem was resolved by the delivery of a remote. Unfortunately, on our last evening the elevator was not working. "The location is good for just temporary one-night sleep. The rooms are clean and tidy. The house-keeper are very helpful. The question is that the bedrooms are near-triangular with wide wooden sides, which is uncomfortable for two persons. Besides, the camp is near the high way, people who are sensitive to noise may feel hard to sleep."

"Numa Hallen was a great place to stay for a long weekend. As I arrived quite late I like having the access code ready to code so I didn’t need to bother checking in. It’s a great area close to all the amenities you would need for a short stay. The essentials cupboard was also a great idea so you could grab extra towels or coffee! "

"Great location in Majorstuen, clean, modern, comfortable and well appointed non-serviced apartment. The sliding bedroom doors did not fully close or lock, leaving a 5cm gap to the wall and creating a bit of a privacy issue (2-bedroom, garden floor unit)"

The room was spacious and clean and the property management was responsive and fixed the minor issue we had right away. "We enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have laundry facilities. Bit problematic with only one washer for the whole building. The room was difficult to navigate with sofa bed unfolded. Very tight for a family of four. The linens were nice and was happy to have a Nespresso machine and small kitchen. Bathroom was very small. We were not in the main building. The neighborhood had nice dining options. We enjoyed Luca for pizza. "

"The apartment was an ideal place for acheap stay. It had a god bathroom, kitchen area and lounge. The bedroom was fairly small but the beds were very comfortable. There was a large room upstairs where others could sleep but the stairs were more ladder like. It was clean enough and had all you might need. We would certainly stay there again. The area around had other chalet type apartments and was very quiet."

"We loved our apartment which was the “biggy” and well worth the extra expense for a longer stay with two bedrooms, full kitchen and 2 sitting areas, bonus is the washer/dryer in the bathroom. We were on the 5th floor so above the noise and had the window open at night, the bedrooms are at the rear not street side so no noise. It is very secure, locked gate and door to access the building. Whilst the area will not suit everyone, it’s busy and “kebab land” no shortage of food, it’s multicultural...

"Small studio apartment was clean and comfortable. Had everything needed to cook dinner etc. Free parking was ample and situared in private area at front of property. Large supermarket 5 mins walk and town centre just a few minutes further. Beautiful park area overlooking the sea is directly behind the spartment."
