This property was perfectly located. The breakfast was excellent and the young girl on reception/serving at breakfast was very hospitable. Only criticism is that the walls were a bit thin and we could hear conversations in the next room.

Not a great hotel. My room smelled like a sewer and when I questioned it they said it was the cleaning products they use and to open the windows. The clientele they let stay is wild. I was kept awake until about 2:30 AM due to the next room blaring music and rapping away to rap music. I would avoid.

Not a great choice
Kind of a dump, I'm sorry to say. Room was tiny and uninviting--right on the street, forcing us to keep the curtains tightly closed ALL the time. Lighting was horrible--like a prison cell (and one bulb was missing, too!). The location is not good--nowhere near the center of town, so whatever you think you're saving with this place, you'll use up quickly on taxis.

Outstanding Breakfast
I would give 5 stars, but as there were some things less than perfect, I have to give 4. The breakfast was outstanding, and the whole property clean and well maintained. Except that on my stay. the TV volume would not move from Zero, and the room temperature on arrival was excessive, I had to open windows to cool down the room. Parking on the property is very tight as the bays are only just enough to fit an average car, and some are not possible to get into if someone has parked close to the dividing line in the adjacent space. Noise after 10pm was a bit high, but that is more a case of unthinking guests than an issue with the hotel.

Loved our stay here overnight while picking up our daughter from a semester at Oxford. Fast, super friendly check-in and a comfortable room for the night. Delicious breakfast in the morning, too!

Diff parking.Not Hotel no Hotel facilities -ie no lounge/bar/dining facilities. Had to book time for breakfast yet had no room when we arrived &had to wait 15 minutes. Dining room not big enough for numbers staying in accommodation. Breakfast was nice and give it 5stsrs. Mould in bathroom. Sold as superior double but 2 MN stressed joined together. Nice big room with setter but dark. I would not stay there again. Foreign staff who did not have information about Oxford ULEZ. EXPENSIVE

It was an adorable small family run hotel. Staffs are very friendly. Places are clean and comfortable. The only challenge was to carry the luggages up/down the narrow steep staircase.

Lovely room with spacious bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location made it easy to get a bus into the city saving the aggravation of finding a parking spot.

This property was very nice but the lift was out of order. We had to carry our luggage up to the "attic" room. This proved very challenging as the stairs were very narrow and curved.

This place is NOT a hotel and the staff is extraordinarily unfriendly. The lady at the front actually hung up on me when I called her and stated she was on a very important call and couldn’t be bothered. Also there is no central AC in the rooms and when asked for a bottle of water was told I already had 2. Very uncomfortable stay - would never return.
