We were disappointed with the front desk staff a couple of time. We'd had a long drive and wanted to check in about an hour early and were informed that there was an early check-in fee. When I expressed that we've never had a fee before, the fee was waived. However, our friend who was traveling with us (in a different car) had not been offered that opportunity and was sitting outside in her car. Eventually she was included in the waiver.
Later that evening, my husband went to the front desk to ask if he could get a yogurt and spoon to take some medication. We've requested that before when it was inconvenient to travel with a cooler and were never denied. However, this time the woman at the front desk was abrupt and said, 'we don't do that.' We know that there was yogurt available because it was there in the morning.
