"Hale Ohu is an adults-only B&B that is close to the entrance for Volcanoes NP. We looked for something that was convenient and came across this place on Expedia. The hosts provided a detailed binder as well as daily breakfast in our fridge. Filtered water was provided, and the shower was heated through a tankless system. It’s quite beautiful and historic, the property. A rainforest walk is on site, and driving into the property was its own experience.
There is no AC, but there’s a fan. It was damp outside, but there is a dehumidifier in the room. You really do feel you’re residing in nature when you stay here. WiFi was fast, and I think overall that this is a good option if you’re not traveling with children. There are three rooms on the property.
