Even though this is a non-smoking hotel, the casino is not smoke free. You could still smell cigarettes through the ventilation systems while in your room. Additionally, in order to get to some of the restaurants you had to walk through the stinky casino.

Great stay! The road into the casino is one way and the road twists and turns. Kinda scary when people drive fast. Great restaurants and staff was friendly.

My "mountain view" room was actually a parking ramp view. You could see the mountains in the farthest corner if you looked out the window at an angle. It's pretty average. My room was not stocked with hair conditioner, which I didn't realize until I was in the shower, and I hadn't brought any. It was an overpriced stay, but I stayed there because of the location, not for the casino.

The property has lots of garage parking and is easy to navigate. The kids were disappointed that they couldn't use the pools, but they allowed us to use the pool at the RV park next door. Not as nice but was a decent alternative.

The hotel and room were beautiful and clean. Unfortunately, neither ice maker on my floor worked. The gambling was rough, didn't see many winners.

My husband and I stay there often whenever visiting family that lives in the area. Pala has a great atmosphere and great staff, and the dining options are wonderful. The rooms are always clean and aptly appointed. And, don't forget to try one of their chocolate chip cookies from the corner coffee kiosk. They're great!
