The building very old and tired. Very noises.. paper thin walls and very noisy street. Bar/pub beside the hotel, so everyone was very loud till 2am. Plus street was very busy with people just walking. Staff.. weekend day/night were great. Monday day manager was working. Very rude and and very aggressive on he spoke. Ask for my room # walking out the door to start my day. I asked why? Said he must know.. so i told him.. then went to leave.. then told i must leave my key?. WTAF.. yah no. Why.. no reasons and told me i would have to pay €200 for a replacement. Never saw that in any fine print. When I question him who he was..like the owner.. he said yes... then quickly change to just employee. Apparently not the only person who had issues with this guy. Also told by staff the hotel has changed ownership and they simple do not care about reviews like this. There just there to take your money and nothing more nothing less. Bathroom is disgusting. Little to no soap provided. Shower towels are like hand towels. The elevator old and cage style.. barely fits 2 people, never mind your bags. Anyways don't recommend this place.. .to expensive for what it is... only thing is in a pretty good location.. but so are quite a few others!!

Great hotel, central to everything in Paris. Only concerns were a driping shower head that was continuous, and no curtains in the room, so outside lights shone into the room during the night.

Well situated, though rather noisy (student quarter) lacked kettle etc in the room. Bed against wall - husband had to climb in & out!

Delightful hotel and location!
An older hotel, but clean and in a perfect location. The people at the front desk were amazingly welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. We came to rely on Eliza, who was at the desk during the day, and Youssef and Mourad who were there to greet us at night. Great location. Comfortable and clean rooms. A well-run hotel. We will return to this hotel anytime we are in Paris.

Very close to the Latin Quarter but just outside so very quiet. Viennese patisserie very close by is better for breakfast than the Hotel basic.

Hotel St. Pierre is more like an overpriced Hostel. I originally chose it because of location, but I once I was there, I saw how many other options there are nearby, so I suggest checking those out first if you prefer a hotel. The main guy who works front desk is rude and yells at his staff in front of customers, so he shouldn't be client facing at all. The elevator breaks down every other day, so be prepared to walk up and down five flights or more. Two of my wall outlets were broken and the hair dryer and fridge didn't work. The tub was dirty when I checked in, and the only thing clean in the room was the twin bed. Given all of these facts, it should be a fraction of the price. Positives: Yussef was the most helpful and should be the main person at the front desk. Look out for him. Tip: If you're there in the warm months, ask for a fan at the front desk, as the "AC" works as well as a sigh of disbelief. Hostel St. Pierre feels more like work than a vacation.

Room was very small, like most hotel rooms in Paris. Carpet had stains and room had unpleasant smell. Door to bathroom would not close. TV hung at a weird angle and tv arm bracket wouldn't move properly to the side. Hotel definitely needs a renovation. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, but I guess there is not much they can do at the moment. Location overall is great: close to shopping and dining as well as to the Jardin du Luxembourg.

Great stay in the Latin quarters. Easy access to transportation. Hotel is small and old but rooms were surprisingly nice. Don’t expect anything fancy, but most rooms in Paris are small and our room had enough room for three people. We didn’t eat breakfast there but opted to eat at various restaurants in the area. The biggest wow moment came when we walked out onto the balcony and realised we had an incredible view of the Eiffel Tower from room #46! Amazing bonus!

Great little hotel perfectly located
My sister & I were in Europe for a week. Three nights at this cute little hotel. We loved every bit of our stay. It’s not fancy by any means & the shower is extremely small but we didn’t mind. It was clean & the location was perfect. Everything is walking distance; Louvre, Notre Dame and plenty of places to eat. The best part though was the amazing view from the 6th floor. It made the trip for us. You can see the Eiffel Tower perfectly from the higher floors. It was amazing waking up & seeing the tower from our balcony every morning. If you’re not high maintenance this is the perfect hotel for you! Staff at the front was also very welcoming as well.

Nice, basic hotel in a good area. Few mins walk to a few metro stations and easy walk to the river. Friendly staff. Wouldnt bother booking breakfast via expedia as you can make mind up when there and there is a fantastic patisserie a few doors down.

Great Location
Great hotel for the price in a prime location. The hotel was clean and comfortable and felt very safe. My only complaint was the shower was very small didn’t have an overhead faucet only a hand held one.

This was an outstanding value hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter midway between the Luxembourg Gardens and Notre Dame overlooking the Sorbonne University and within easy reach of St.German du Pres. Delightful!
