“Paris - pretty good hotel”
Excellent Hotel - slightly out of city centre but right on the metro. Staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean & reasonable. be warned that the lift is tiny (& there is only one) so if you are on an upper floor be prepared to climb some stairs unless you are very patient.
“Loved it!!”
This hotel is fantastic!! Loved the decor, the service, the room, everything about it (A/C would have been nice - ask for a room on the inside as I think it's quieter and we left the window open all night no probs). Bed comfie, super clean, and great stand up shower unlike the over bath hand helds found in many other hotels! The metro is literally out the front door too so location is great. Overall a must stay in Paris! Highly recommended and we would definitely stay there again.
“Very Pleasant Surprise”
Desk personnel all spoke adequate to excellent Engish. Mattress and pillows were equal to best hotels in Vegas. Rooms at back were very quiet. Decor is colorful. Only drawback to hotel was very small elevator--although typical of older, small hotels in Paris. Best pastry found in Paris just long side hotel. Metro entrance just outside hotel entrance.
“Had a wonderful stay!”
We had a great time, it was nice to have restaurants all around the area. I loved how close it was to the train station. Overall a great vacation.
“Most comfortable hotel in 2 weeks in Europe!”
The elevator was definitely small and the location is a bit outside of tourist spots, but the hotel is steps from the metro exit, the staff is extremely helpful and the bed was the most comfortable we found in 4 countries! Definitely worth the extra few metro stops.
“Wonderful Access to the City”
Really enjoyed my stay; however, I think the hotel needs to tell its customers that if you use the phone you will get charged, even when you have a calling card. Other than that small detail, I LOVED IT!!!!!!!
“Loved this Hotel”
This was by-far the best place we stayed in out European vacation. We stayed here 4 nights - and it was great. The rooms were clean - the bathroom wasn't the nicest - but the location was fantastic. Yes, it was a bit far from downtown but the metro station is right across the street and the were some excellent places to eat just down the block. If you want to get a feeling of how it would be to live as a Parisan than this is the place for you. I would stay here again in a second.

very well positioned just opposite the Porte d'Orleans metro station. Clean and spacious rooms at reasonable price. Nice bars and restaurants very nearby. will definitely stay again.
“Nice reasonably priced hotel in Paris”
Really pleased with Ideal Hotel Design. Pretty compact room with twin beds and small ensuite. Good continental breakfast. Pleasant staff. Patisserie right next door and entrance to Metro right out the front door. Cafes, bars, a supermarket and a laundry all either next door or within 150 metres. Would recommend the hotel. A happy traveller from downunder.
“good stay!”
it's not the fanciest of hotels, but a very good value. Rooms and bathrooms are small but clean. Includes TV and wireless. Right by a metro stop so it's very convenient if you're traveling by metro. The staff were very helpful and friendly
