“Very Nice for Price”
This hotel had a great location, we were near the metro and used a pass to get all around town. the staff were polite and helpful, offering directions and travel advice. Would happily stay again!
“Le Relais Madeleine - Very Nice”
This is a great, small hotel in a great neighborhood. The room was very clean, comfortable and well updated with modern amenities. My personal preference is to always select an upgraded (not economy) room when in Europe. If you're a confident and independent traveler, you'll find this hotel and neighborhood a great spot to stay in Paris.
“Nice little hotel”
Though older with a few things that could have been fixed (windows didn't latch but on the 5th floor it didn't matter), it met our needs very well. Very close to Opera, Madeleine Metro stops, blocks from the Louvre, etc. Very convenient. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast there cheaper than in nearby cafes. We would stay again. They did say that the hotel is closing in June for a full year, to be remodeled, enlarged, and brought up to "4-star". Too bad, but it needs it.
“Okay”
The only complaint I have about the hotel is the location. It's central to everything, but it's DEAD at night - no restaurants or shops nearby are open. The front desk people were always nice and friendly, especially the night guy!! Our room's bathroom was bigger than the bedroom, which was a little weird. I wouldn't stay there again just because of the location, but everything else was comfortable and what you'd expect for a 3-star European hotel (read: small!).
“Excelent location”
This hotel needs a lot of maintenace, however if you won't be at the hotel all day, it is perfect because it has an excelent location, close to Louvre, a metro station is 5 minutes away, Rossybus terminal (Airport CDG-La Opera) is 5 blocks away. The guys in the front desk are very helpful and speak english. Next time in Paris I will go back to this hotel.

“Good location, but older hotel”
The Hotel was in a great location. Staff was very friendly nad very very helpfull. The rom was big, but needed remodeling. Shower was not all that good. But overall that was a great value for the money, and the location was very convinient. Close to the metro station, and all the major attractions.
“run down, but clean, inexpensive & good location”
Lots of space in the room, but the furnishings were run down. Good for a quick one night stay. Good location, near the Opera House and the airport bus stop.
“Excellent location, not so great hotel.”
The hotel is centrally located within 2 minutes from Madeline and Opera locations. Loved the area. The hotel is poorly maintained, although the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was so so for 8 Euros but coffee was cold. Would return to this area, but not to this hotel. Other hotels in the area were more expensive.
“Good location and value for the budget conscious”
The location of the hotel was excellent (close to Opera, Madeleine, Printemps, easy walking distance to the Seine and Tuileries) with easy access to the Metro and RER lines and the quiet side street address meant very little noise at night. My room (#10) was very small, dingy and run down (shower curtain mildewy), but the sheets and towels were very clean. A friend stayed in room #5 which was cheery and had twice the amount of space with a large, immaculately clean white bath tub. The various attendants at the front desk were all very polite, courteous and helpful.
