“Excellent place to stay”
It was right on the subway line. Close to train station. Excellent neighborhood and Italian resturant right around the corner.
“Problem with Room service”
During my five night stay, the room service came in the room without my consent. That was the only problem I enocountered, other than that, the hotel is nice and clean to stay.
“Good value w/ convenient location”
This hotel is a typical Paris hotel; very small rooms & elevator. Overall it was a good value for the price. The bed did kind of sink in the middle, so it wasn't the most comfortable, but we got by; after all with all to do in Paris we weren't so focused on sleep. Location was also great as it was relatively close to the Eiffel Tower and a five minute walk to the metro station.
“Good Hotel but uncomfortable bed”
Great area and near Metro but the bed was not that comfortable. I had to sleep on the floor because the bed was so soft in the middle. When you sleep on it, you will get a back pain.
“Helpful Staff”
Room was small but did not impede on the comfortability. Would go back. The staff was very helpful. Overall the room was well maintained there were a couple of incidents that I did not like: did not leave any toilet paper one day and did not make the beds another. the location was excellent and easy to get to from anywhere in Paris.
“Small, but close to metro”
Rooms were small, but adequate. The staff was friendly/helpful and spoke English. The buffet is way too expensive (11 Euro) for what you get (yogart, croissants, etc.). The hotel is older and in a remote part of town, but has bathrooms/showers in each room and is close to the Metro 12 line which goes straight into the heart of Paris. Not the greatest place, but they are fairly inexpensive (overall).
“Traveller Beware”
If you are to stay in this hotel please be advised. I stayed in this hotel in May, and I was completely horrified by the cleanliness of the room. I stayed on the fourth floor, the hotel has an extremely small lift, but that was not what concerned me. The fact that I was almost eaten alive by the bugs in the beds. And I say beds because I switched rooms. I woke up on my second day in Paris COVERED by more than 10 bug bites. And I could see these bugs and their excremants on and in between the grooves of the headboard. My second room was not too bad, but I still got bitten. And it was the main reason that I wanted to leave Paris, was because of this. But if that doesn't bother you, the hotel is a block away from the Metro station, in a very good area, and most of the staff is nice and amiable. Though if you complain about the bugs and insects, they'll tend to not believe you and try to say that you are making it up. Until you show them all the red welts and bumps that itch like hell. Also, one of the room towels had an old piece of gum stuck to it. Typical for a Parisian room, but I HIGHLY doubt that it's supposed to be infested. My advice? Pick another hotel. Even if you have to pay a bit more, it's worth it to not loose sleep and feel itchy and constantly dirty.
“couldn't swing a cat”
very cramped room for 3 day stay. Two safes but no drawers for clothes and only 6 hangers in small wardrobe.Fell over each other when trying to travers the room.
“Not impressed”
Hotel was ok, but a little out of the way, although the metro/tram were both nearby. Seemed to take an age to check in, staff were slow. The lift is very small, we had difficulty getting two people in with our bags. Decided not to take breakfast in the hotel as there were plenty of small restaurants about. Room was very cramped although adequate. Double bed with hardly room to walk around it, samll wardrobe and no drawer space so unpacking just wasn't an option. We arrived a day early and hadn't had a chance to book the 2nd night through expedia, think we paid over the odds for the hotel but it was during the rugby world cup and hotels were busy. I was not happy with the parking charge, 26 euros per night, for a motorbike! I will look elsewhere next trip.
