When we told them we were leaving early they packed a togo breakfast for us, which was a treat at the airport when we needed it. The room was a little cramped with all the big furniture. However it was queit, clean, and really comfortable which is everything we needed in this area of Bangkok. Would repeat and would recommend."

"The Phuttal Residence is located on a beautiful river/canal. We stayed in the family apartment, though there were just the two of us. The furniture and accommodations were nothing fancy, but everything was clean and orderly. The breakfast was excellent. Even though we had a kitchen, we did not cook. Please note that you will need to order a taxi to find a restaurant. It is about a 10 minute drive to center of Ayutthaya."

"An old wooden building with excellent value rooms. Shared bathrooms are clean with good water pressure. Downstairs rooms have en suite bath with TV and aircon. Right on the river. Perfect for catching an onward train. Family run guesthouse with laundry service and assistance booking local tours and transportation. I have stayed here several times and look forward to my next visit. They also offer showers for non guests for only 50 baht if you want to clean up before your onward travel. This...

"This is a very basic hotel. But it is safe, clean, and comfortable. I had an inside, ensuite double room, which i think is probably much quieter than the rooms with windows, as they face the busy street and traffic. Breakfast is basic toast, cereal, and coffee/tea, served on the rooftop. Only drawback is there is no elevator. So, this is not the place for those with mobility issues. The staff was excellent -- friendly, helpful, and kind. Hotel is close to Pahurat Market, Sampeng Lane, China...
