Let's start with the negative because there's so much good that outweighs it. The report sits on a hill that's off a road that appears to be inhabited by many locals. Not a bad thing by any means, but it is a bit off putting until you enter the property grounds and take in the beauty that is Avista Hideaway.
On to the great. The staff and service is exceptional. I genuinely did not feel there was one need that went unanticipated. If there was any question or issue, the staff jumped at the opportunity to provide a solution. Next, the resort itself. BREATHTAKING. We got the jacuzzi suite room with the plunge pool and were legitimately sad when we checked out. We will be back in Phuket because of our time at this resort. The amenities are great. Two nice pools, although we only used our private one. Standard gym. There's a spa that we didn't get to use, but it looked nice (it was right beside our room). I was actually surprised by the cleanliness. I am a neat freak and it met/exceeded my expectations. Lastly, the food. Wow. I rarely give reviews, so this lets you know they are doing something right. Even the room service food was great. Vista restaurant takes walk ins and they have cuisines for all palates. The real star is Tambu, the Indian restaurant. It is regarded as one of the best, if not the best Indian restaurant in Phuket and I understand why. The service was immaculate and the ambience was stellar. Food was 12/10. I will stay here anytime I come to Phuket.
