"Hotel was very nice but old and could use some updating. Its in middle of nowhere with literally 2 miles of drive on narrow road in fields with no buildings in site. This did make it quiet. 14 Mar 2020Pooley Village is currently having a bridge replaced which was swept away in 2016. This has caused some disruption for vehicles and as a consequence the bus service isn’t fully operational.

12 Dec 2019Penrith is close by to the beautiful Lakes and scenery of the lake district, so having a car to explore is a must. Without one, transport is very expensive and limited.
