“Easter Break Vacation”
Centrally located in Philadelphia to all family friendly attractions. Train station right outside, 3 blocks from City Hall. Clean bright rooms, most comfortable hotel bed and pillow ever, friendly service. Heated indoor pool and whirlpool were a big hit with the kids.

We were in town to visit the University of Pennsylvania and this hotel was close. We wish we could of stayed because the hotel was close to everything.

Even though the hotel was full of conference attendees, that it no way overwhelmed the attentiveness of the staff to others like myself, and although check-in was packed, everyone was patient and agreeable. Also, Lady Liberty, the shuttle company to the PHL airport, nearly stood me up, but the doorman was Johnny on the Spot, calling the company (I had made the original reservation the day before myself) at his own behest TWICE. When the shuttle finally arrived and it was clearly going to be too late for me because the shuttle driver claimed he still had other pickups, he and the doorman arranged for me to have a cab. I was very well tended to.

The staff was courteous and friendly. The hotel was near restaurants and public transportation.

The room was gorgeous and our view was fabulous. The breakfast buffet was good. Staff was helpful and courteous.

Great hotel, good fast service, nice, modern furnishings and decor. futur definitely consider staying there again in the future.
“Doubletree Philly”
I arrived hours early and asked if the bell captain could hold my bags, instead I was given an early check-in. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel in great shape. Located above the Walnut Street subway station, I had easy access to both Independence Mall and the sports complex. Food and drinks in the bar were more than reasonably priced. I only have two minor complaints. 1) the Doubletree cookies are not as good as they were ten years ago, and 2) while breakfast was excellent, it was a bit pricey. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the hotel to both families and business travelers.

You can't beat the location with all the theatres, restaurants and historic locations nearby. If you are visiting Philly, you can't go wrong here.
