Amazing room and service
Hi great location had problem with my Ac and manger ruby took care of it right away and then had to change rooms all done in matter few hours amazing service I read some reviews and I had great experience I stayed at a lot hotels in Cambodia it’s worth spend that little more money for better room again manger was great thanks and I will be back

Great place to stay only thing worth mentioning would be that its slightly hard to find.Just look for the burger king and head two stores towards the night market

I stayed in a fifth floor river view room. View was gorgeous. Ceiling fan worked great but AC a little weak but we were comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Location was perfect for downtown sites. After reading some reviews of this hotel I was a little nervous, but our experience was great. Our room was impressive in decor and size. There were small cosmetic blemishes here and there but we were very pleased.

As we arrived the hotel looked dirty, when checking in I was advised I’d be upgraded to a room with a private pool (GREAT) I thought. (NO) the pool was filthy with trash, dead bugs and also soil from a planter from the room above. I told the front desk and they advised the pool will be cleaned the following day. Yes the pool was cleaned but I noticed then the lights and pumps do not work. So again it got dirty fast The main door to the patio and pool area had no lock fitted NO LOCK The English/American breakfast was terrible, I only ate the scrambled eggs The room was dirty and I do not think it was cleaned before I moved in. the bed sheets was new but the bed was awful The above was bad BUT the thing that made me feel sick was using the lift. The lift had an extremely bad smell of PEE. Worse than a public toilet Second morning my friend and I only had coffee for breakfast. But on the same bench seating as us was a staff member asleep. He was snoring and facing us was the filthy soles of his feet. (I took photo) Overall this hotel is nothing like the one on your website its filthy and then some I am very very disappointed with this site, I’m fact that is putting it mildly

This hotel ain’t that bad we just had a bad experience there... firstly really hard to find because there’s about 8 signs on the front of the building. Secondly the hotel is above an Indian restaurant and at night the smell was so bad it kept us awake, I mean I love a ruby as much as anyone but to smell it all night long was just too much. Thirdly and probably the worst thing was we had a cockroach problem I must of killed 8-10 of the buggars, then covered every crack, hole and door frame with bug spray, that done the job. I paid for breakfast but didn’t bother having it the smell of curry still lingered at 9am so we went next door for a Burger King. The location of the hotel is really good right on the water front the room was filled with toiletries, tea and coffee and water. The only reason I gave bad ratings is because of our experience also the whole place just needs a good clean very greasy in the hotel lobby. You could definitely find a better hotel for a much cheaper rate nearby

Our stay at the Crystal Blue Boutique
Very nice hotel. Modern design of the room with a glass panel separated the bedroom and bathroom. Perfect for couples but not ideal friends or families traveling. Overall the service was very good with friendly staff.

Good value for money
Location very good and majority of local attractions accessible on foot. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Double rooms are definitely not 30sqm, quite small but sufficient. The large room is immense and makes for a great stay. Room was tidy. Lacking attention to details in terms of cleaning and general upkeep/maintenance.

Absolutely Abysmal Awful Hotel.
This hotel has totally misrepresented itself. While the room size/beds were vaguely as described, it was; Dirty Room; Sheets worn/had holes in them; Bath Towels worn/holes; Ceilings (water) Stained; upon arrival 50% of the lights didn't work (water damage?) and after thunderstorm #1 subsequently 80% of the lights failed; said thunderstorm badly flooded the bathroom resulting in one of us slipping and being badly injured; thunderstorms #2 & #3 also flooded rooms; Broken bath hob as pictured; Mouldy sinks; Dirty shower; Failed to clean room daily or supply new/clean towels; Breakfast very poor and delivered wrong/with bad service; Cockroaches in "Restaurant" (pictured). We were courteous and polite, but certainly made it clear the water leak was dangerous. This was not unique to our room as two other guests/couples advised both of their rooms leaked badly too. While as Westerners we think this is a budget hotel at $65pn, it was probably only worth $10. It's an absolute dump, and Hotels.com should be ashamed to have it on their site/exclude them. Photos used maybe 10 years old. See our photos below. Do not stay here. Simply awful, an absolute dump.

Good location, nice riverside view, Very noisy Room, and it needs repair. There are 18 light bulbs that need to be replaced. Free room for all: The main sliding door need to be bolted properly to the main frame to stop people from entering the room. The room needs a good clean by a cleaner. The famous singing / swisling shower head is really annoying. You need change the shower head.

This is a great bargain hotel, its location is close to beach but the beach is not that clean, i moved to a resort with a better location but its 2x the cost. A great bargain hotel overall.

Lovely hotel but very rundown
No phone to call reception. Was same last time I came 6 months ago but at least then they gave us a mobile phone to use. Cleaners did not come to service rooms until we complained. On the last night we we’re awoken by the sound of water dripping and looked up and water was coming in from the ceiling flooding the floor near the bed. We were moved to another room in the middle of the night. Overall the hotel is rundown and not maintained

superior room was terrible
Oyr first room was a "superior room" was was tiny, less then 1 meter of space around the bed, room smelled damp, bed was really hard, bedding was so old that the white sheets are now grey and really thin. We paid extra money to upgrade next night and the second room was much bigger with better view, but the bed and bedding were the same as the first room.

The staff were friendly stayed 3 nights the first night we stayed in 201 which didn't have the best view ,but we were upgraded to the top floor 601 the view was amazing.Seems to have some plumbing issues though.The guy at reception was very friendly and helpful.Breakfast could of been better.They need to change the menu if they aren't going to give you what is on offer after the 2nd morning of asking for the fruit platter i gave up.The Riverside just across the road.

I choosed Niron for Riverside location, SwimmingPool, Stylish rooms. 1) Pool was closed the two day I was there, rented out for private event for 2 months from what I understood - UNACCEPTABLE without notice! 2) The room is stylish, but the maintenance is totally lacking, roof dust on the window frame, heavy rain partly flooded the floor, shower blows water everywhere except on you, cables from the huge TV flat screen hanging miserably under the screen, broken bedside glass lampshade, only one large towel while I booked for 2 pax 3) Cleaningness very doubtfull: an empty water bottle remained between the matress and bedside table, sand/streetdust on the bedsheet, even no spots were visible, it seems the sheets had not been changed from the last guest! Bubble bath tube 2/3 empty spots on the window between bathroom and sleeping space

My very first time to the Kingdom of Cambodia. I was impressed by this small boutique hotel. Centrally located in the river side area. The room was cosy and the bed was comfortable. A great place to stay when you are in phnom Penh, nice ,comfortable and affordable. Will surely be back next time !!!!!

Great room but don't use the bath!
Upon checking in I was welcome dear to an amazingly beautiful room. A gianT bathtub sat in the centre with a separate shower, toilet and balcony. I decided on my second day that I was going to have a bath. Unfortunately, after cleaning out the tub from hair and dirt (seemed like it hadn't been used I no while), I darted to fill up the tub only to find that the hot water ran out after 1cm had been filled. Needless to say a cold bath wasn't really very relaxing, and had I been told that this would be the case I would have been fine, just wouldn't have had a bath! Aside from this the whole stay was quite enjoyable, with a big bed, nice sofa, huge tv and balcony with a view.

Such a disappointment. We arrived at 9.00am and had emailed the hotel with our flight details for a pickup from the airport which was an inclusion of our booking. Arrived and no one to pick us up. A kind local man phoned the hotel and advised we had arrived and they answered we will need to get a taxi. Hmmm, after a long flight we were not happy. Ended up getting a tuk tuk which was fine but shouldn't have had to. Got to the hotel, booked in and were taken to the room. We had booked the balcony suite on the top floor but were put in the room on the 2nd floor. Advised this wasn't what we had booked and the worker told us 'oh, top floor room already have someone in!' Replied that we booked that room how could it have someone in it. Just kept saying it has someone in and we can move to that room in 3 days. We did move into the room we had booked after 3 days. The laundry was another interesting saga. Told it would take 5 hours that turned into 1 1/2 days. Most of the staff spoke minimal English but generally could get our request understood eventually. One staff member who could speak reasonable English was there the first day we arrived and did organise a guide and car. Never saw him very often after that and when we asked another staff member to arrange a tour for us well that was an impossibility. Communication was an issue but the staff were always pleasant. On checkout they did refund the difference between the cost of the 2 rooms which wasn't huge but appreciated.

Comfortable but certainly lacking.
I had a small room not one of the big rooms that look much nicer. The small room was ok. I was comfortable enough for 3 nights. A few issues were: no plug socket in the bathroom and not enough light to do makeup or really see yourself! No shower curtain so lots of water in bathroom when showering. Cobwebs in room and mosquitos getting in from all the cracks in walls and ceilings. Breakfast was appalling and the waitresses were the worst I experienced in many years. They were like sleep walking zombies. They bring you half the breakfast you ordered and you will need to show them the menu and remind them that x, y and z is also included. They'll bring the rest when they feel like it and in my case it will be cold. Don't bother with breakfast here, go elsewhere. The positives were good wifi, very nice reception staff, good location and the room is priced fairly.

Good if you want to be at Riverside.
Unique layout for a old shophouse lot. The suites were huge and the service was friendly. Also the staff claims that the roof unit next door belongs to Brangelina ;)

There is a pool! Wifi Located on the riverside which is very close to most points of interest. It'll cost you around $3 to Russian Market. If the first tuk tuk won't accept that price, walk on as another man will! Cleaner did a fantastic job of our room. Hard beds... Very, very, very, hard beds with hard pillows. The house located behind but right next to the window play their Rv really loudly and play their music during night and first thing in the morning! I read mixed reviews about this place and thought... Let's give it a try... But I'd only stay for the pool.

THey need to spend time finishing things off
Rooms are huge. But taps/faucets were not secured and are loose. Half the light bulbs were out or not functioning, but there are that many so its not an inconvenience. The hotel is very narrow. I would guess 11 to 12 foot wide or 4M. Very narrow for a hotel. The room I had was huge. It must have been 700 SF. It was clean and served its purpose. Be prepared for the music to blast out up the atrium to all levels from the restaurant below until 11pm, when the band finishes playing. Same songs every night, so you will get used to their repertoir, not a bad band or anything, but it wont be for everyone having to listen to that until 11pm, didnt bother me as much, but I am mid 30s. The area was safe to walk around. When I went to another hotel in Phnom Penh for the experience, I wished I was back at the Niron as the other was in a place that I didnt feel that safe walking around on my own. Hotel staff were friendly, although young, so I would say it is lacking a mature leader to make sure everything is in order.
