Worse stay ever!
To start book the room for 1 week. When I called to book airport shuttle took 10 calls to reach anyone, then they wanted double normal price for shuttle $20. So I just got a tuk-tuk from airport only $8. When arrived at hotel and got in room the aircon did not work complained about for 2 days, never fixed. The towels and bedding were old and dirty looking. So after 2 days I ask for an early checkout and refund my remaining 5 days. I was told I need to talk to manager, after another 20 calls and no answer I gave up. I then called hotels.com and tried to get refund that way and they informed me they would have to call and get it approved from hotel. I was ok with that but then they informed me they could not get an answer on the phone either. All said and done I stayed 2 night ended up paying for 7 cause the hotel manager does not do their job. I recommend stay away from this hotel. There are plenty other hotels nicer and cheaper and happy to have you as a guest. STAY AWAY!

Robs stay.
Cheap and cheerful if your on a budget it's fine room was clean bed comfortable, hotel could do with some TLC especially the pool area a bit of street noise but a great view from the roof for the price it was fine.

I was charged for 1 night to many. Although I continually asked about refund I got no real response. I didn’t even get the room I booked. I would never stay there again and would never recommend.

Okay really.
Constant noise from building sites. Pool loses sun early and only3 sun loungers.Wanted 15 $ to launder sheet(!!!???) Rooms not sound proofed. Breakfast okay. Red light area--- a passing parade of slappers at breakfast. May be I would stay again(?). Without balcony option, really only suitable for one night stand. Ha. Handy.

Avoid. Somewhat of a Dump.
Hotel is run down and needs maintenance. Room was a dump. They don't have enough towels. So if the hotel is full, you might not have towels after a hot day of walking until the evening time. Obviously, the towels haven't been replaced since the hotel opening. Price would have been OK for the area, but there is construction on both corners of the street. It seems it will be like that for at least a year. I paid $31 for the inside room. The room is really small, and it's a dump, both the room and the street. You can get a better room for between $12 - $20, but the location will be approximately a kilometer away from the riverside. Or you can pay approximately $2 more to get a cleaner room at a cleaner street next to the riverside. Or you can pay $15 more to get much better and cleaner room on the riverside, which I did. You get what you pay for. Pay $1 or $2 more to get a better room in a better street without the construction nearby.

Dont be misled by picture of swimming pool you have to awim standing up ..I like to swim but this is a hot tub ..when I first saw it I asked where the soap was It's difficult to enter hotel due to staff scooters parked on pavement . Breakfast is cold and not cooked correctly

The hotel overall was good. The hotel close to many things within walking distance, small but good choice of breakfast. The swimming pool was waned but it was good enough to swim. I was put in 2 floor where the storage room and staff room are so it was very noisy. The room with no window was very small though

The hotel overall was okay. The room was nice enough. The elevator was really slow though and the AC in the room was barely able to keep the room comfortable.

Great location for the Water Festival.
Arrived early because of catching an early morning flight. Staff made every effort to have the room cleaned immediately after the previous nights guests checked out giving me a chance to recover from my early flight. Room was immaculate even even though maid rushed to get it ready. Roof top bar and pool provided magnificent views of the boat racing. Despite the all night partying from the late night celebrators my inside room provided more the adequate sound insulation. Realize that you are staying in a night life area and if you request a balcony room then expect to hear some late night rerevelors. Hotel staff genuinely friendly and unlike some of the large hotels that require long Tuk Tuk rides just to get of the property your are just a few short minutes ride down the hotels scenic glass elevator to multiple quality restaurants and the scenic river walk.

Best for day use only
This is a pretty basic hotel which I wouldn't recommend for an overnight stay as the sound insulation between the rooms isn't so good (you can hear what is going on in the nearby rooms). Plus many of the rooms don't have windows. But it's fine if you just want a relatively cheap place to leave you stuff and use as a base whilst waiting for a late flight.

Nice area. Noise from construction and disco.
Nice place, convenient location. Construction next door and 10th floor disco loud music disturbing. A few party animals made noise late at night. My recommendation is conditional. If the central location and low price is important, it is fine. If you need quiet, go elsewhere.

Location is good but outside of hotel is not a really good environment. It seems not safe at night with lots of homeless people staying on the streets with lots of rubbish flying here and there. Hotel room seems okay but overall the maintenance seems needs to be improved such as cleanliness , air conditioner not power enough and noise can be hear when somebody walking outside the room. Hence , the hotel price shouldn't be overpriced.

The location is near restaurants, night market
The hotel is near different restaurants whereby food is never an issue. Apart from that it is within walking distance to the night market where they artifacts, clothes, shoes etc. It is a fantastic location. However, the sound proofing of the hotel is terrible. During my stay, I could hear every single movement made, every single conversation made, along the corridor on my level.

Great hotel for your money
I had to pay extra for to get the room that I wanted but the staff was very accommodating and very helpful. Great view of the city from the rooftop restaurant although the food service was somewhat slow but tolerable. Location is good. I would come back to this hotel.

I stayed at Grand Waterfront Hotel for 6 days. The hotel is adequate. Nothing fancy but clean and in a convenient location. The hotel is about a half a block from the main waterfront street that serves as Phnom Penh's primary tourist area. Lots of restaurants and nightlife options. The street is a little grungy, but what the heck, this is raw SE Asia so you could just consider it "atmosphere". It's safe enough, so no worries. The breakfast was OK. Wifi was about average for the region. On the whole, not a bad value.

Hotel and staff were nice but I stayed ther for 3 nights and never slept in 3 nights , TVs going on at 2 and 3 am very loudly and building works were starting at 7am drilling and banging And the breakfast never tasted fresh

Good Place!
Had a good time at the Waterfront Hotel. The hotel was clean, well located, and definitely enjoyed the nightlife around it and the walks by the river. I was in Phnom Penh for a solo getaway and there were many places around me where I could have a good bite, read a good book, and then have a drink. It is also central too!

Building work spoils a nice hotel
The hotel is in a nice location near the waterfront. It's a nice hotel with lovely staff but there is building work going on which starts at 6.30am and is very noisy. This makes the place very dusty. I sat at the rooftop pool, which is very nice, but couldn't stay there due to the noise and dust. Once the building work has stopped there shouldn't be a problem.

Hotel was good but there is a renovation going on the building beside the room I was staying. The walls are connected which is a norm in cambodia. I requested to change my room and it was done quickly. Room service was really good. Their meals were excellent resturant quality. The buffet breakfast on certain days were made to order bfast which was good and fresh

It's a new hotel in a good area in town, and the rooftop pool is a great amenity. The breakfast and service in the mornings are excellent! However, the rooms are small and you can hear other guests because the walls are thin. Also, the hotel front desk quoted us $40 for a tour that we were able to get from a tuk tuk driver for $12.

Hotel was being renovated
The hotel was being renovated, so the room we stayed in was freshly renovated, but the pool was not accessible, which was terrible as the temperature was almost 40 degrees. Also, they had no idea how to provide a breakfast, which was included in our tariff, but virtually no existence.

Small hotel that's near the riverfront. Centrally located and near everything. It was a bit funny that the safe wasn't attached to the furniture or anything at all. Felt a bit weird leaving stuff there. Hotel does have surveillance cameras.
