I always enjoy my stay at the Homewood Suites. It's my go to, just to get away. Affordable, clean, breakfast included and I love the kitchen in the rooms. If you don't want to order out you can bring your own food and prepare a meal.

Hotel seemed new and clean. It worked well walking to PNC Park for the baseball game. However there is apparently very little sound proofing between floors. I am not normally bothered by typical hotel sounds. The first night we were kept awake by what sounded like someone stomping back and forth above us over an hour, well past midnight. We called the front desk twice and they did comp our parking which was nice. However I don’t think the people above us were doing anything excessive, just walking. They should be able to do that without it sounding like a herd of elephants to the floor below. Breakfast did not have many options either for the price. Lastly, the pool area was unbearably hot for sitting and watching the kids swim. Very strong chemical smell which actually made my daughter sick to her stomach. Need to be able to open a window or door, anything to fix the ventilation. Overall, Nothing was really wrong with it but it certainly wasn’t cheap…. We would probably try a different place next time.

Good location and room amenities. I hated that my room had three (red, white, blue) lights be lit or flashing that is very distracting when the room is otherwise dark and you are trying to get to sleep. The blue light was the reflection of the microwave clock via the mirror into the sleeping area, the red light was on the TV and the periodically flashing white light was from the smoke detector.
