"Great location, clean, wait staff in the restaurants are lovely and friendly. Great having taxis outside the hotel. Staff in the Cinnamon bar could be more friendly towards customers. Some consistency with cocktails and food coming out of the kitchen would be good (eg. jerk pasta was very different the two times I had it- had it again as it was so nice the first time). All in all a great place to stay and would stay here again. "

"The borders were close due to Covid 19 the air line refunded my nonrefundable flight HOWEVER this hotel did not want to offer me a credit for a later stay WHEN PEOPLE WERE FREE TO ENTER THE COUNTRY. Although I was not asking for my money back. I think this was very dishonest. I will never recommend this place to anyone. however I will be in Trinidad as soon as I can.. DO not stay here I only booked because during the Carnival you don't really stay inside just change and go. "

"We stayed here for Carnival week and arrived Thursday and did not receive any house keeping until we checked out a week later. Room was cheap for Carnival but understandably so. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Felt safe in location but it isn't a walkable area and need to get transportation to anywhere in Port of Spain. No phone in room. No safe, which is essential. Bathroom very dated with bathtub painted with latex white paint so was peeling off during showers....

"This was a last minute booking during Carnival. It worked out but the bathroom needed a deep cleaning. No wifi in the room!!! You need to goto the lobby for a strong signal. If you need wifi PASS on this place. Or work in the lobby."
