“Great experience at the Heathman!”
An ideal hotel experience. Wonderful location, personal service, nice rooms.
“Great Restaurant”
Awesome stay. The restaurant is amazing! We went there four times in three days!
“Local's Staycation Destination”
Very nice room with comfortable bed and excellent staff. Only thing slightly negative was the size of the bathroom - super tiny! Nicely appointed and decorated but only suited for small folks. Hotel is situated nicely in downtown Portland and close to good restaurants, shopping, shows, bars, everything!
“Sophisticated and great location”
I was completely surprises with the beautiful suite and the service. It has a great location. The staff was friendly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. I certainly plan to go back.
“Unique”
The hotel was unique. We loved the history of the hotel built in 1927 and yet enjoyed the updates for living in today's world. (a little bit of yesterday, yet up to date with today's type of living). The library was a big plus. We enjoyed the wine tasting and talking to the librarian on staff. All of the books in the library have been written by guests and are autographed by each author. The books are available to check out during library hours. The hotel sitting area with the chandalier was beautiful. This hotel is for anyone that wants to relax and enjoy quiet time in an historic setting. The food was delicious and the staff met all of our needs. We truly enjoyed our stay.
“Great Visit”
Came in for Coldplay and some brewery visits. Perfect location, easy simple stay, and nice restaurant with good selection of beers and house drinks! Plus, sleeping on Tempurpedic like we do at home was choice! For the price I felt it was an excellent value and would certainly stay again.
“Old fashioned elegance”
Beds were comfortable! HD Tv, internet. I loved the smell of the soap! Valet parking on the street was a little uncomfortable, but I got used to it. :)
“Great plce for a business stay”
Professional service, convenient location, very clean, good restaurant.
“Beautiful and comfortable”
Lovely, spacious room. Amazing in-room coffee. Super staff. Hope to return for a longer stay.
“A gem in downtown Portland”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Heathman. It's convenience to great shops, restaurants and the train were definite plusses. Our room was really comfortable and the entire staff was really friendly and knowledgable.
