Set atop a hill overlooking the New Hampshire countryside, the Anchorage Inn is a quiet, little gem. Beautifully landscaped, with simple, clean rooms and friendly service, it's the perfect choice whether you're "passing through" or making it your destination.
“Will absolutely go back!”
My husband and I had not had a vacation from our busy lives in two years, and we booked the Anchorage blind because my husband was familiar with the area of Rochester, NH. We were so pleased! The staff was courteous and friendly, the room was kept spotlessly clean daily and even fully booked, there was no noise from room to room, which means we slept very well. I will return to the Anchorage if I ever go to Rochester, NH or even the surrounding area again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks again for a great week!!!

This was a nice hotel for the money. Nice lawns and pool area. Hotel staff were very nice and friendly.
“I would go back”
This motel is very cute - right off the highway -the room was very clean - and the grounds were very well maintained - the pool was nice and warm - my 12 year old love it ! - in the morning they offer a nice touch - muffins - cereals - coffee - juice - I would recommend this motel - and I am picky ! - its not a 5 star hotel - but is a very nice clean motel !
“Anchorage Inn of Rochester”
We were very pleased with our stay here. Rooms clean and comfortable. Refrigerator in room was convenient. 1 (one)inconvenience though was that there was no Coffee maker in the room. Grounds were well kept and had a beautiful Water Garden to relax by.

I am from the Cape Cod area and went to Rochester to visit my sister who had recently moved there. The motel was conveniently located to her new home. I was pleastanly surprised with Anchorage Inn. The grounds are beautiful, the staff friendly, the rooms, although small were clean and comfortable. The motel is also conveniently located to the Spaulding turnpike. I would recommend to friends or family.
