"The Waiting Lodge is a newer hotel in Pyin Oo Lwin. It is associated with a fantastic restaurant, a home movie theatre, and a full gym. The breakfast is delicious with many options both nationals and foreigners enjoy. The pool and grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The staff is so kind and quick to help us with anything we need. The general manager is very gracious and came and greeted us himself. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing visit in Pyin Oo Lwin. "

"The hotel is very clean. Our room was spacious and clean. Windows made the space bright. Bed and pillows are softer than most Asian hotels offer. Water in the shower didn't stay warm very long but the pressure was good. Toiletries: include the basics, plus razors and q-tips, which was a nice surprise. "I've stayed here before, so I was very disappointed that I was treated so badly this time. I was put in a room where nothing worked. All of the batteries in the remote controls were dead. I had to call down to have them come up and fix things. The worst though was a shower that didn't work. "The hotel description should be changed: (1) having gym should be removed fm the hotel description because equipments r broken and cannot be used. They were put in a small room that look like the storage room. (2) no kettle in the room, (3) no welcome drink as stated. BF time is at 7am, but 40% is ready. When stated that 7am.is BF time, all foods should have been 100% ready. (Fortunately, the unreadiness was compensated by friendly staffs)."
