“Fantastic experience!!”
I have been lucky enough to stay at Swisshotel in London and Sydney...and this experience in Quito was outstanding. Totally enjoyed this visit from staff, to the breakfast (amazing local fare) and the comfort of the bed. Unfortunately time ran out to enjoy the facilities such as pool and Spa, but both looked impressive. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed and would certainly stay again, and recommend to others.

I recommend the 'European Plan' as it provides rooms on the upper floors of the hotel, breakfast and daily bar, tea and refreshments. The rooms are simple, spacious and very comfortable and the service and location were excellent.

quito is not the most exiting city in ecuador, we recommend fly in and go to cuenca which is a more sophisticated city

The staff was excellent. They took care of everything we needed when we needed it. The rooms were nice with very large beds. The showers are small, but that is the style.

“Excellent Value in Quito”
I stayed at this hotel for 3 days following a trip to the Galapagos and was so impressed that I came back for one night after a side trip to Cuenca. The hotel felt more like a resort than an urban hotel, with stunning bouquets of roses in the lobby, original artwork on every floor, and a beautiful indoor/outdoor pool area in the interior courtyard. The gym was a reasonable size, well equiped and the spa area was spacious and had all of the usual amenities (sauna, steam, whirlpool) I chose the executive floor option which included free wireless, complimentary breakfast and open bar after 8:30. For a nominal amount extra, you could also take advantage of a buffet dinner, which was very helpful for a woman traveling solo who did not want to venture far from the hotel after dark. The rooms have a corporate hotel feel, but as expected, they were bright, clean and very comfortable. My only complaint was that the concierge service for arraning tours was not very helpful, but there are many good travel agencies within 5 minutes of the htoel.
