The property was dated but still it was clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast would have been appreciated but we made do. Riverton itself was dead and finding a place fir dinner was difficult. We are not big fans of fast food and pizza is okay but not always our first choice. The desk clerk recommended a bar that also served food and that turned out to be a great choice.

The property is in a convenient location, but does get some road noise from the busy main street. The attached Indian/Nepalese restaurant was very good.

I appreciated the last minute reservation and permission of my dog. It took 24 hours with the heater on full blast for the room to warm up enough for us to not need boots and coats on at all times. The water for the shower was either scorching hot or freezing cold. There was no inbetween, and no water pressure whatsoever unless it was freezing cold water.

This was my first stay at the Sundowner. I saw the rate and was skeptical, but thought I would try it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was somewhat dated, but extremely clean and quiet. This stay exceeded my expectations and I will stay there again.

I have stayed there often for business. It. Is an older but well maintained motel. It has all the basics and a little more. Cafe, lounge, fitness center. Staff is always nice, beds are comfortable. You get a lot for a reasonable price.

I was grateful for a hot bath and clean bed. Property is definitely dated. Security concerns with sliding doors to parking lot and in bad shape. Bathroom floor filthy and ants crawling around.

Best budget hotel in Riverton! I've stayed here and one other budget hotel and this one just does it right. Yes, it's older and not the Ritz-Carlton but the staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable (felt so much better here than the other hotel I tried, coming from a germophobe). I'll always stay here when visiting.

Great water pressure in the shower. Older motel but front desk gal was awesome in assigning us the quietest room for a good nights sleep. Definitely could use updating. New pillows & bed linens. Courtyard had we had time to enjoy it seem nice. Easy check-in & check out.

Not that we were excited to stay in their lower than 1 star property, but they left us without a room to stay in during a youth soccer tournament. Will know better for next year to reserve room earlier to avoid this lack of customer service!

Definitely old and needs some updating. Outside of check in, never saw another staff member. Saw trash outside people’s doors. Other guests were loud. Towels like sandpaper. Somehow Google says this is a 3 star hotel. That’s not the case

Housekeeper cut corners
Front desk staff was very nice. Overall the hotel was clean and in good shape. Unfortunately it seemed the housekeeper who cleaned our room directly before our arrival cut corners. There was a dirty towel behind the door & an empty (melted) bag of ice in the fridge. Vacuuming was not as thorough as it could be. It seemed this was not a long running issue as in general the hotel was quite clean.

They had a restaurant but it was closed for remodeling. The rooms were very dated. Needed to be upgraded to 2000s. They charged a room damage deposit of $50/ night. So like we stayed 2 nights, so there was an additional $100 charge to my credit card for 3 days. I am 53, no kids… seamed excessive. So the “hidden fee” I didn’t like.

Nice room, not 4 star though, charges $10 every 1/2 hour past 11 for check out, no late check out, $15 pet fee, $100 deposit for pets which i get, 15 not so much, hopefully there vacuuming, changing the bedding, so whats the $15 about, no continental brkst, or muffins, juice, or drinks for sale, it has a restaurant thats closed for lack of help, so i think you supplement that, anyway wont stay again, oh and so far they've charged me double on my card,

Our housekeepers work extra hard to provide pet friendly rooms, and take the extra care to clean them as such for the next guest. We do hope you understand this as not all motels offer pet friendly rooms and they deserve to be taken care of for their hard work. We are glad we can do so for our guests. The price was reasonable, but everything they claimed on there website was not factual. The restaurant was not open, the rooms smelled like smoke, and it was extremely loud from the highway noise.
