We had difficulty when we first arrived. We were very early but had requested an early check in. No rooms were available until noon and then we had to pay 59 euros to get a room at noon or sit in the lobby for another 3 hours.

Overall it is a very good hotel. I liked it. And the staff are great. The two key things which could be improved are- la proper restaurant. You can eat in the bar, but it is not the same. Secondly, the rooms are quite dark. There is plenty of ambient lighting, but not enough. I had to read the instructions for using the in room safe with the aid of the torch on my mobile phone!

Nice spot, needs light...
Great Hotel, great location, great breakfast....only downside for me was there was not enough light in the room....even with all of the lights on, the light is very dim.

The hotel and staff were excellent, the bar on the 7th floor I think it was had wonderful views of Rotterdam, there is a tram station 5 min from the hotel that will take you straight into the city. When I go back to Rotterdam, this is where I will be staying.

The hotel room was beautiful, location great, not far from central, a 5-10 min drive, 35 min walk. However the room was very cold, 2 members of staff came up to check the heating, first time I was told room would take 20 min to heat up, second member of staff said it could take up to an hour. I wanted them to change my room, I was offered a spare blanket which I refused, considering how much I paid, the least I could expect was for the room to be warm. One of the male employees was rude, eventually I had my room changed, this one was exactly the same as the last. In their defence I was provided with a portable heater.

I loved how close it was to the New Luxor Theatre. Had great food options nearby. The hotel was clean, tidy and had a great free drink policy if you were eco friendly.

Photos deceiving, not worth the money
First of all the photos show the room to be a good size - not so! The weird glass around the bath/shower is tacky - looks ok on photos but not in real life. The shower over the bath was awful - lack of pressure and after the shower there was a lot of water on the floor. The whole bathroom looked very basic compared to the photos. Weak hair dryer. The photos showed a rooftop terrace - apparently that was another of their hotels - again, deceiving. One good thing was the service - very helpful, spoke English and very responsive to my email about leaving an item behind.

Amazing hotel, very friendly staff, I got a spacious room with a great view of the riverfront. Very good buffet breakfast with delicious variety of food. There is a metro station just in front of the hotel which made the commute quite easy. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel.

Great place, recommended
Great combination between a fancy luxory hotel with a nice cool and young twist, great service. Loved the stay there, staff is awesome and helpful, breakfast is great and the bar is very nice too. I also loved their - "green option" in ehich you can give up the room cleaning service and get a free drink at the bar in return. Only thing I would improve is the shower, which is built in a way that does not allow the water to drain well, and the transparent door to the shower which in the night sometimes is easy to bump in.

I like that it’s central and lots of food places nearby. The ac in the room wasn’t so great and also they have no iron available to iron your clothes.

Nhow the best stay in Rotterdam
Loved it. Worth paying for the Erasmus bridge view. Near metro. Staff were great alerting us to the short notice rail strike and arranging a taxi to schiphol.

Hotel was in a great location lovely welcoming staff and comfy furnishings in the standard room. I asked for a quiet room but I had trouble sleeping because of the noisy aircon and noisy fridge plus street noise. It is a city centre hotel so that’s to be expected but I thought the windows would be more noise insulated. I was on the top floor. The aircon wasn’t very easy to use either and I got quite hot overnight.

Great location for the main tourist parts either by a 10 minute walk or using the Tram or metro across the road . Rooms lovely and comfortable . Outside terrace a welcome place to sit looking over the bridge . Breakfast worth including in your package otherwise €25 a head. We hired a self drive boat and took a picnic . Supermarket 5 minutes from hotel to purchase everything g you will need. Mini fridge in room to keep things fresh helped with the leftovers .

A fantastic hotel in a great location - right by the water, stunning views from the terrace bar, several eating and drinking options nearby (Hotel New York, Fenix Food Factory and area), a mini supermarket in next street and a 2 min walk to the nearest metro. Excellent base for exploring Rotterdam!

This is a modern property boasting wonderful views of the Erasmus Bridge. And the reception is colourful and fun. However, get behind that and it is in fact quite basic. The room was concrete with hard floors. The bed was hard. The room furniture was masculine and tired. There was a table lamp which, on a bad night, one could have impailed themselves on. Too many sharp edges. The chairs - well one was huge but totally unsuitable for relaxing. The pudding was worn. The other was more like a stool with no back support. The tv was in a shiny case so always reflected the lights, and we couldn’t get a good signal. Also, we were unable to plug in our own stick to watch our choice of programmes. The flooring between the bedroom and bathroom had a sharp ridge which I hurt my foot on. The coffee making facilities were minimal. Tiny cups. Barely sufficient cream and sugar provided. The tea bags were ‘luxury’ but not ‘tea’ and the cups were so small plus there was no milk. Not really enough electric plugs in the right places. Yes, the view was stunning, but we also needed to be comfortable - which we were not. The breakfast was good with so much choice spread around that we’d walked a mile before going out for the day. The evening restaurant should not really be called this as it didn’t serve a proper meal. It was basic furniture, no soft touches. The food was more like sharing snacks. And quite expensive. If we return to Rotterdam we would not return to this hotel.
