Wow didn’t think hotels existed in this country like this what was great parking reception room breakfast 07:00 and ample seating around with free coffee & teas as well as a selection of sweets with out a doubt this hotel will be my first choice when in the area.

Staff are great, friendly and accommodating. Hotel is just a bit dated and showing its age. Heating was stuck on, unable to control it at all. Room was clean and well serviced. Good range of food at breakfast, nothing exceptional about it. Nothing bad in general, just nothing good/great about it either.

Lovely hotel overall with good parking. A lot of traffic noise and noise from air conditioning systems in room 106 which kept me awake. Staff and resturant were great. A good base for business trips around the Birmingham/Warwick area and close to the M40.

Had to move rooms because the sliding door wouldn't shut and there was no heating! Second room was good but not as big. Breakfast was very good.

I was assigned to a room without curtains. Weather is around 3 degrees in the evenings , for two nights stay, 1st night the heater is not working. When I called the room service, I was told that the engineer does not work on Sunday. It does not occur to the hotel staff that they should at least offer to change the room. Payment is requested upfront, I can’t checkout and move to another hotel.

Treated like naughty school children!
Most of the staff were excellent. Unfortunately a few of our party were told off by the chef who was serving the food. (For misdemeanours such as thinking the butternut squash was a veg accompanying a main course - when it was actually the vegetarian main course; and wanting a larger serving of something than was allowed - apparently it was ‘against the Rules’ we were told! etc etc) The older receptionist was quite officious and seemed to lack patience with people. People wanting to watch sports on the tv in the bar didn’t appear to be allowed their own use of the control for it!

Ample parking. Easy check in. Nice room with pleasant views over courtyard and fields but windows incredibly dirty. We only had 4 bottles of shampoo supplied no shower gel, heated towel rail that actually worked even when central heating not needed. Plenty of hanging and drawer space. I liked the idea of fresh water stations in communal areas instead of bottled water in room, there was tea & coffee in room with packet of biscuits. No restaurant menu in room to temp you to eat in-house so we went out. Would have been nice to have USB ports as well as electric sockets.

The room and en-suite were very spacious with a lovely view across the countryside. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The only negative was the lack of air conditioning and ventilation in the bedroom, also the corridors were very warm due to some radiators being fully on. Overall though a lovely stay.

It was welcoming ....my family member works their and was on duty at tge reception, I was very impressed how she professionally greeted me. The bar staff were very friendly and made lovely cocktails. Shame they closed a bit earlier on Saturday as there wasn't any guests to serve accept us. And we were fine with it as we could grab a drink before we went to bed. Friday was great though and lively. Even though it is a conference, there were many facilities as a normal hotel... but do not expect to order wine or food after closing hours.... that part we missed. Our room was nice and spacious overlooking the field. Tea and coffee was available in the room... Breakfast was good too.... Over all a lovely place if you want to be in the country side.

Not impressed, bar was never open til we asked, room was like an oven, outside seating area with fake grass still dirty from the day before. Breakfast was ok but not hot enough, safe to say we won’t be going back anytime soon
