Located halfway between downtown San Francisco and downtown San Jose, at 30 miles in either direction, this hotel offers easy access to each city's airports. Stanford University is just six miles down the road and Paramount's Great America theme park is 12 miles away.

“My best package”
I got a very good package flight, car and hotel
“Nice stay for the price”
The staff were helpful. The hallways and other areas of the hotel were a bit dirty (old carpet, run down a bit), but the room was nice. Clean room, comfortable bed, balcony. The shower was good. Breakfast is a packaged pastry. The free coffee all day is Farmer Brother's and delicious. Parking was not a problem for me. They have a very decent size lot. I did not use the pool, but it looked nice. I think there was also a jacuzzi. A few blocks from the Caltrain station. On the local bus line. Stayed one night, enjoyed the stay.
“Affordable, comfortable, returnable!!”
My family and I took a well deserved vacation and we chose San Francisco/San Jose as our destinations. Good Nite Inn Redwood City is the perfect location between Frisco and San Jose, and you can't beat the price. My kids really enjoyed the huge pool too!!!!!!
“Great Place with a Great Price”
For a budget hotel, this place is great. Right next to an IHOP. Staff was nice. Decent sized pool in the middle of the property. I wasnt expecting a fridge or microwave in the room but there they were. It was a nice surprise.
“Would stay there again”
The mattresses were the most comfortable we've found in a long while. The room was spotless. There was no noise. We will stay there again when we are in the area.

I had wondered what a place with the name "Good Nite Inn" would be like. I was surprised it was a California chain. My room had a under counter fridge and freezer, and a small microwave. There were two things that would have made this hotel a truely great hotel: heating the very nice but outdoor swimming pool, and larger towels. The room was nice. There was a private balcony, TV, desk, chair, and comfortable bed, and of course the previously mentioned refrigerator/freezer and microwave. This is very convenient to the 101 with easy on and off both North and South. The IHOP on the property makes getting meals easy.
“Our home away from home”
We have enjoyed all our stays at this hotel; this time having the pool right outside our door was great. Will come back to this motel again & again. Very courteous, helpful staff!
“Surprisingly good”
I had low expectations of this hotel, as it's next to the highway and not far from the airport. I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was excellent. The hallways in such places I often find disgusting -- these were clean enough. The room was spotless. It is next door to a pancake restaurant (sharing a parking lot), there was plenty of parking, and the noise level was practically zero.

The only drawback is that there is no free Wifi to use.
“Can't wait to go back”
After reading a few reviews on here, I wasn't expecting much, But this hotel exceeded my expectations. It was a bit further then expected and it didn't help the taxi driver I got didn't know where it was located. But this hotel was fabulous. The room was great, the staff was very amazing and very helpful, and I would recommend staying for either a few nights or two weeks as I did. My only two qualms was 1) trying to cross the road were the hotel was located. It can get a bit cat-and-mousiness but you get the hang of it if you want to walk around the area. 2) It's not a really big problem, but the cable tv in the room is not the greatest. I hurt my foot during my stay (No fault of the hotel) so being in my room for awhile and having the real basic cable got boring after awhile, But I still enjoyed my experience.
