"A lovely large old hotel overlooking sea in San Remo. It was obviously very grand in it's day. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the pool area. Room was a good size and lots of toiletries provided in bathroom. Pool was lovely, a good size and a with poolside bar. We found space easily but in peak season i imagine it would very busy as space around pool is limited in comparison to size of hotel. Excellent location for beach and to walk to...

"Arrived at 3pm. Was a problem on arrival with the person that was meant to check us in not being available. After a wait of around 15 mins a lady from an adjoining office organised two key cards and took us up to the room. On opening the door the room smelt very strongly of stale cigarette smoke.
