“Would Stay There Again”
We found our stay enjoyable. Loved having our own kitchen for a late night snack. The staff was very friendly and the room was lovely.
“An oasis of tranquility and beauty”
The Blue Iguana is one of the most beautiful, tranquil and yet unassuming hotels that I have ever had the opportunity to stay in. The property is clean, beautifully appointed, and meticulasly maintained. The landscapping is breathtaking, with beautiful plants and flowers every where. The roses is perticular are amazing! Local artists decorated the hotel, and every where you look there are unique statues,fountains, paintings and furnishings. The pool/hot tub area is a little piece of paradise, with little surprizes at every turn (the hot tub mosaic sea monster was a family favorite.) The rooms are clean and comfortably furnished ( you feel as though you're staying in your personal hacienda, not in a hotel.) The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly, and the free breakfast buffet was great! The whole family fell in love with the Blue Iguana (even my teen aged sons!) This was one of the highlights of our California trip. I hope we have opportunity to return to the Blue Iguana!

“Relaxation in Ojai”
The Blue Iguana bills itself as an extended stay hotel, and at least some of its rooms are quite expansive with kitchen areas. Very quiet, off the main street, very relaxing. I would go back.

“Perfect Quick Get Away”
It was a perfect quick get away with the perfect ambiance for myself and my 26yr old daughter with no traveling plans in mind. This is a place that we both would come back to with each other or with others, to recommend to family and friends and couples with no children. A place to come home to. With spirit and warmth even 4 days before Christmas. And I would imagine any time of the year!

What a pleasnt surprise after the hustle and busy pace of the Bay Area or Los Angles. The Blue Iquana offers great accomadations in a very relaxing and quiet setting. Great place to relax in a mountain setting. Would definitely stay again, at least, a two or three day stay.
“Great Ojai Style, Child Friendly”
The staff were welcoming and we were comfortable with our two small daughters in the room and at the pool and jacuzzi, which were lovely. The decor and landscaping were distinctive and tasteful. The property is removed from town by a couple of miles, but there is a walking/running trail adjacent. The only drawback was the traffic noise near the pool.
“Beautiful”
The 1 bedroom suite was like staying in a lovely townhouse. Hardwood and tile floors, wonderful colors indoors and throughout the hotel. Private but still great for my 10 and 13 year old daughters. Nice pool, breakfast, and helpful staff.I highly recommend this oasis in Ojai.
