“The Marshall House - Savannah Charm”
Beautiful old historic hotel. Very charming, beautifully decorated for the holidays. Some of the charm is due to the age of the building, if you want things to be modern and perfect you might not like the creaky floors and shaky banisters, but my family liked the unique atmosphere rather than a boring modern chain hotel. Our room was small, but other family's were more spacious and all were well appointed. The staff is wonderful. Every request we made was graciously fulfilled from the need for bandaids to information about dining and local interest and events. We had three families together for New Year celebration and the public areas were very comfortable for getting together, playing games and chatting. Total southern charm. We will return.

We chose to stay at the Marshall House after deciding not to spend the money on a bed & breakfast. We really are happy with that choice. The hotel is small, and almost has the feel of a bed and breakfast. We loved the original hard wood floors, and the high ceilings in the room. The room was small, but the ceilings made it feel more open. How much are you really in your room in Savannah anyway. Hotel Amenites are minimal, but breakfast is included. We were very happy with our stay.
“Ultimate bed and breakfast experience”
I traveled alone and wanted something comfortable and pleasing to the eye. The decor was very nice and staff was friendly and helpful (reservations and directions). The breakfast was sufficient and the wine and cheese reception was wonderful. After sightseeing during the day returning to the Marshall House to unwind was superb.

The staff were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the cocktail hour but would recommend plates and a more cracker friendly size cheese. The breakfast was good but a little more variety would be good. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.
