“Good location”
Good location, need to have soda machine, could not get soda at night or morning without going out or calling room service. Mini bar was too expensive for a family.
“Sheraton Downtown Seattle”
This hotel was recently remodeled since the last time I was there a year ago and it's quite impressive. The lobby has a large flat-screen TV, along with several computers and couches to relax in. It also has several tables which are touch screen generated to play games on (chess, etc) and search for interests in the area. The rooms are equally lovely and comfortable. The location is perfect if you want to be in the middle of downtown as almost everything is in walking distance (shopping, restaurants, etc) and the major attractions (Pike Place Market, Space Needle) are only a short taxi ride away. There is a lovely little creperie stand just up the street by the convention center and it's a must have if you really love crepes. There's also Palomino, Cheescake Factory, Il Forneo, and many other restaurants in walking distance. If you're going there to shop, this is the place to be. The airport is about 25 minutes taxi ride away and you can get a set fee to the airport (if you ask), but going to the hotel from the airport by taxi is a bit more. There is also a shuttle you can take that comes by the hotel every hour or so and it's a third the cost of the taxi. I found most of the staff to be very helpful and accommodating , with the exception of one bell boy who was not eager to help, but expected a tip for what little help we did ask him for. There is a fee for parking overnight.
“A great place in the heart of Seattle”
Bed and bedding was luxurious. The hotel was centrally located, which meant a lot of tourists. If you want to experience the "real Seattle" I'd suggest another area. But if you're there to see the underground tour, go to the seattle center, and shop this is your place.
“As expected from a downtown Sheraton”
I would consider this an excellent choice. parking costs are the only issue. But you are in the heart of Seattle.
“Big business hotel - no soul but ok for what I wanted”
Only complaint is that there are so many sheets, duvets, etc on the bed that it is too hot, so turn on A/C in winter in Seattle? Crazy. Hotel should be shamed into saving more energy. Really awful to see multiple, empty escalators running day and night.
“Nice hotel”
Great location within walking distance to good eats and shopping.
“Great Hotel! Great Service! Great Location!”
Every year we go to Seattle for Christmas Shopping and a girls weekend. We always stay downtown and usually at another hotel close by. But this was a better hotel by far. Close to all the downtown shopping and restaurants. The service was great, especially the valets and bellhops. We will be staying here again and again.
“Sheraton Seattle was perfect!”
I wish it was this easy to get around my city! We took the Link Light Rail from the airport to the last stop, Westlake, which is downtown, 3 minutes walk to the hotel. $2.75 for the fare, 40 minute pleasant, clean ride. Best deal ever! We walked to the Pike Place Market, Space Needle, restaurants etc. Good thing we didn't rent a car, we would have never used it and parking in the city is expensive! We took the LLR to Qwest Field to watch a soccer game. We were for the opposing team, but the Seattle fans were very nice to us! Our room was clean and spacious. We were on the 24th floor with a great view of the city. The bed was very comfortable and I am really picky about mattresses, I slept very well on the very night! There was a hair dryer, iron, personal safe, and ironing board in the room. There was a locked mini bar, complimentary water bottles and coffee maker, although I never used the coffee maker. We ordered a roll away bed because my daughter drove down from Vancouver for the game and spent the night with us. There was a reasonable charge for it. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Really nice room and polite staff, no negatives!
“Best location”
This is a very nice clean hotel. The check in was fast and very pleasant. The hotel is nicely located.
“Perfect Location”
The perfect hotel for first time visitors and those returning to Seattle. This hotel is located a short walk to the famous Pike Place Market, the monorail which takes you to the Space Needle, great shopping and many, many great places to eat. Definitely, will stay here again on my next visit.
