Staff can’t speak English. No service mind. I stay on Dec but don’t have heating (But in the description , write that there is) They have luggage elevator but can’t used. Not recommended.

The staff is not friendly at all! No manner, it is very important to have a porper hospitility and attitude to serve the guests. Would not consider again just because of this.

Okay hotel
I enjoyed the stay the first time i came, but not this time. Everything was fine, but the wifi. I mainly require a few things when i stay at a place. Clean room,comfortable bed and good wifi. Which i dont think is much to ask for. I got the first two things, but the wifi was so in and out i had to switch to my data which i don’t have alot of. I won’t be staying at this place again.

Nice hotel
Everything was a smooth process. From the check in to the room it self. Only tricky part was finding it. Once you get to the general area you have to go down an alley to get to the entrance. Kind of hidden, but doesn’t take too long to find.

Fine Place Overall
This place is good if you are on a budget. The rooms are clean and have air conditioning. As others have noted, they are very small and the beds are hard but can't beat it for the price. A word of caution, the front steps are very very slippery when it rains and there is no handrail. I fell twice, so please be careful. Other than that, would probably stay again.

first of all!! thank you for staying at our guest house. and the problems you pointed out, we are trying to fix the thing when it rain, it's slippery, we put towels.to prevent guest from falling down off the stairs. and if they are carrying their stuff, we try to carry those stuffs not to be harmful for our guest. however we are sorry if you had inconvenience in regard to what you have experience. and thank you for all the feedback, and we will try hard to make our guest satisfied. appreciate it!!

Conveniently located, many shops, restaurants and convenience stores at a stone's throw. great staff and squeaky clean. The room comes with a flat screen tv and air-con. The hotel has a very nice terrace, perfect to relax in the night, Lee, the owner, is extremely friendly and helpful. The best value you'll get for the money you are spending

The rooms were tidy, front desk folks very polite and helpful, location great proximity to metro and shopping Only issue was self service breakfast was a bit lacking. Would've been nice to have had some fruit or meat options.

Nice place and super clean
The location is pretty convenient and the kitchen on forth floor is very clean with good view. Room is clean and comfortable. The stairs are little high and the soundproofing could be better. It named guest house in fact it's a hotel. The staffs are so kind. Cause I arrived at a late time and they put a paper on the door but I didn't see it and rang the bell, he came to open the door for me without any unpleasantness. And he helped me with my luggage to the 3rd floor. I felt sorry and thankful for him. It's a great place to stay. One person is really comfortable and two persons are comfortable and economical.

Decent Guest House, but Horrible bed. Extremely hard bed even for Asian standards. Sheets also were not comfortable very rough. Great Staff, decent location and clean. Bad smell from bathroom drain, made the stay a little unpleasant.

Wonderful stay!
The stay was a wonderful stay! The staff are exceptionally helpful! The room was clean and the roof top glass house was simply magical, eating breakfast there everyday was so relaxing. The owner also cooks breakfast every morning and is very warm and friendly as well despite him speaking little english. The neighbourhood is quiet and the walls are quite isolated. All in all, a comfortable and relaxing stay which is not too far from the metro and one stop away from hongdae area where are the hustle and bustle are! Would definitely recommend this to others if they are visiting Korea!

Loved our stay at DH Guesthouse
The owner is absolutely lovely! He greeted us when we arrived and was helpful and also cooked the delicious breakfast every morning. The area of Sinchon is fantastic, great for shopping, restaurants and nightlife. There are buses and the metro is really close by. You can also get to Hongdae easily by foot or one stop by metro. Would definitely stay here again.

Great home base
This hotel is great if you're looking for a launching point to explore Seoul. Friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed, etc. If your looking for a hotel to relax in and hangout, look someplace else. This hotel is bare-bones, but was perfect for our use.

My husband and I chose this place for the price and location (it was very close to an event we were attending that weekend). They emailed us after the booking with video directions to the guesthouse, which were very helpful and accurate. There are steep stairs just to get to the entrance; however, the staff helped us even with our small bags we could've carried ourselves, and they had a luggage lift/elevator to get your bags indoors and to your room. The room it VERY SMALL. Just big enough for a double bed and that's it. If you have big bags, I wouldn't recommend it. Also, like most hostels/guesthouses in Korea, the windows let in a tiny amount of sunlight (due to being super close to other buildings and the windows being slightly opaque for more privacy). There is free breakfast which was pretty decent; it was made by the guesthouse owner/manager and included fried eggs, cereal, fruit, bread, soup, and a salad and orange juice. Compared to other guesthouses/hostels in Korea, it was actually one of the best breakfasts offered. The room is also one of the best of the Korean guesthouses; I'd recommend to someone who wants a cheap, clean room...and doesn't need a lot of space.

Reality is different from website!
I book this hotel is not only cheap,but come with windows, i even write my requirements window room same as the booking order, after checked in the room with windows has been taken, we need to stay on first floor with no windows, and the room is full of stinky smell due to dampness, shower is either too hot or too cold, hardly can adjust the comfortable temperature. Before u book must reconfirm what the hotel room is provided, even they stated but at the end is different, not worth to stay.

Home-y feels! Excellent service!
Had a wonderful week at this guest house with my boyfriend. It was lovely and you feel right at home. The owner was super accommodating, even though he doesn't really speak English, he tried his best to communicate with us. The room itself is small, just enough for the two us. (we're asian and have slim figures, so your milage may vary) No wardrobe, a multi headed hook is available for coats and etc. Housekeeping provided upon request. There is a mini fridge, TV, air conditioner as well as a standard hotel safe. Breakfast was pleasant and delicious! The owner, himself, cooks it everyday. Just the way mom used to make it! :) The menu has the basics toast, eggs, salad, orange juice, milk, coffee. Hot soup is available and the owner occasional throws something different in the mix. They have Korean style BBQ available upon request. It was an amazing experience dining on the roof. Viewing Seoul and having great bbq with just me and my boyfriend, it was so romantic <3 Subway: Sinchon Line 2 (Exit 6) *I find this easier than Exit 7/8 From Exit 6, walk straight, follow the curb and turn left, passing a 7-Eleven, keep walking straight until you come to another 7-Eleven, there should be a pedestrian crossing nearby (Across the street should be a GOYA store, or KIA motors), cross the road, turn left and you should see the D.H Sinchon logo. You might have to look for it a bit as the signage is a bit thin. Go into the alley, up the stairs, and there you go. Recommended!

Loved staying here! The hotel staff was beyond welcoming and always accommodating. They took the time to explain things and help me with any city traveling questions I had. The breakfast included was an added bonus and it was a great place to come and relax after traveling all day. Will come back here!

Ensuite private r/m with reasonable price.
I've stayed at this place three times. For me, Except for the absence of Elev., everything is acceptable. staffs are friendly nd room is clean. If u're a budget traveller, looking for a private r/m with bathroom, then this place would be a proper option.

Wonderful owner and hotel!
At the last minute my flight from Korea to USA was canceled and I got rebooked on another flight the next day. Having stayed in Korea for 6 months, I was pretty low on money. I was lucky enough to find D.H Sinchon Guest House at 50% off. So my boyfriend and I traveled all the way from Incheon Airport to Seoul to stay the night. It was a little tricky to find at first, since it was tucked away, but we managed to find it without too much trouble. When we went inside we were greeted by the owner of the Guest House. My boyfriend immediately liked the owner. They chatted as we checked in and the staff even helped put my heavy luggage in our room. The room was small, which is typical of hotel rooms in Asian countries. But the room was updated and cozy. The bathroom was really fancy. We really loved the hotel and the room. We took advantage of the free breakfast the next morning. My boyfriend almost made me miss my flight because he loved the tteokbokki so much! He swears its the best he's ever had. The food and service was really great and the rooftop patio was too cute. The only downside to the hotel is that inside it has the steepest stairs I have ever seen! I believe we had to climb four floors to get to breakfast on the roof. I think they have an elevator if you can not make the climb, but it's a little scary going up and down those stairs. I was lucky enough to have a room on the first floor. Over all this is a Guest House I would defiantly stay at again! 10/10 recommend!

I have to warn first that you would need to walk uphill for 5 mins from train station to the hotel with all the luggage and go up a few steep flight of stairs to reach the place. I was a little out of breath when reach the tiny reception. Anyway I pay for a cheap good price so I don't wanna have expectations except for cleanliness. Lucky me the room is quite brand new and very clean. The room space is small but ample space for my backpack and 1 big luggage to place in corner of the room. The only problem I face was the shower heater was a little inconsistent at times and the bed is HARD. At least my body could get use to it but most of the time I slept in sauna as the room is used to place all my shopping and belongings.

Great Value for the Money
Great value for the money. The room is tiny, but that's expected. It is clean, quiet, and convenient. The staff are very friendly, and they serve simple and satisfactory breakfast. I've stay at many hotels in Seoul and other cities around the world, and I can confidently say that this is one of the best budget guesthouses in my opinion. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
