It is what it is
It is what it is a budget hotel, dur to Singapore increasing rates across all acccomadation these hotels and all hotels now are working back the losses from Covid. No fridge, hard bed, but clean. Some noise from Special nightly visitors. but close to some amenities. No fridge makes it hard for short time business travel.

Our flight was cancelled so we had to stay one more night at Singapore We liked for something not very expensive We came to hotel 81 heritage The staff was nice? The room was clean (without windows though) the real thing about this hotel is the location!! In the middle of all nice places around Arab street! It was amazing

Good for a budget hotel
We only stayed 1 night, but for a budget hotel it was all in our expectations. The bed was ok, room was clean, but don’t expect to use the room as a place to relax. The location is pretty good and in walking distance to the MRT.

The front desk staff were really good, friendly and helpful. The facilities were very limited and there was very little space in the room. The shower didn't even have a curtain so all the water was splashing out.

Well located clean room but with a no-view window
Hotel 81 Heritage is really well located and the staff is kind and attentive. The downside for me was booking a window room but ending up having a frosted window, which is basically the same as having no window at all except that it lets a bit of daylight in; it didn’t open so there was no way to know if it was raining)... The room was small and the bathroom too (had to close the door when you wanted to use the sink!) but everything was very clean and good value for money and location.

Property was a good location for where we needed to be. Staff was very friendly upon check-in and greeting us if we went out or came back. Bathroom was a lot bigger than the last Hotel 81 I stayed in which is a big plus to me. Noise in the hallway is easily heard but not a big issue to me. It would be nice if they would upgrade their key/lock system on their doors like every other hotel has, an actual key to lug around is annoying and a little inconvenient. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

The location was probably the best selling point of this hotel as it was easy to get halal food and easy to get to malls and public transportation. The rooms were nothing fancy but for the price, it was good and reasonable.

Budget accomodation
Great location, tons of food within reach. Either way, just use the mrt, Lavender/Nicoll are near. To head out, you can use Lavender to avoid stairs, to get back, I would recommend using Nicoll. Nice cleanliness overall but bad soundproof.

Great location in Kampong Glam.
Great central location for exploring Singapore, especially Kampong Glam and Little India. If you just want a clean comfortable place to sleep and you'll be spending most of your time out and about it's great. Plenty of w=eating and drinking places very close.

Great location at reasonable price
A very practical well priced hotel in wonderful location. There are more luxurious hotels close by but at much higher room rates. The rooms are small, typical of the price range. Rooms are really clean including the bedding. Staff amazing and very helpful.

Just ok.
The hotel isn't bad, and I guess it's ok for its price range in Singapore. There are no city views as stated - the window was sealed with closed shutters outside. The towels were a bit dirty looking (brown stains) and there was a cockroach running around the room when we first entered. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. It was a 10 minute walk from Lavender MRT Station.
