Lovely market town, we did a walk around the castle and woodland park which was lovely. Had a scone and a tea at one of many Skipton cafes. Very cute.

"The property location is very picturesque. 20 mins walk to the town using the pathway along the canal. The dining restaurant has awesome views. The only downside was the pool had too much chlorine. Otherwise the facilities were excellent."

We were given a free parking pass into the Bolton Abbey estate. Had a walk to the Strid then coffee and cake at the Pavilion.
