The location of the property was excellent. Right between a lake and the beach. Property was also very clean and quiet. Staff at reception were also really lovely, friendly and helpful.

Great spot for a get away
From beginning to end, our stay was fantastic. Staff were friendly, the accommodation was clean / comfortable and the location was fantastic (right on the beach). Plenty of activities / areas to explore locally and easy access to locations further north and south on the coast. The kangaroos each evening and the incredible bird life really added to the trip. Cant wait to be back.

Paradise between the Ocean and the Lake

Really relaxing place to stay, highly recommended. the Lady behind the counter was absolutely delightful and helpful. You can buy wood, and they have a little shop with lots of basics. Great stay.

Very pretty place and well looked after park. Be mindful that there is limited mobile phone reception and food options here. The park has a little general store with a few supplies but otherwise you'll need to bring all your food with you; the nearest shops are in Batemans Bay.

My friend & I had a nights stay. We were there for a night. The 2 Br was sufficient for us. Pretty area, lots of wildlife, lovely beach/lake. Will definitely stay again.

Very clean and comfortable cabin with plenty of space. It was in a very quiet location with a lovely view of the bush and the lake in front of it. Lots of kangaroos for company. The reception was very friendly and efficient.

Although having the toilet away from our cabin, the amenities were spotless and clean and fresh. The location was great and the space itself was very comfortable and clean.

Iit was quiet and near to the beach and walks. f you were into fishing this will be an ideal place.

Fit a family of 6 no problem. Easy access to the water & lots of wildlife for the kids to see. Only thing to be wary of is the jellyfish in the lake, they might look harmless but are not!

Loved the warm welcome from the staff and the wildlife around the park and I especially loved how close I was to the beach as well as the lake.. I will definitely recommend this park to family and friends will be definitely returning thanks for the great time guys...

The hotel is near to the Durras beach and other bodies of water so the family can go fishing together.The supermarkets near the hotel which is a 16min drive and it has lots of good restaurants to eat at.

Going Again
Loved it. Staff were very helpful. Short walk to beach and river/lake. Will keep this place in mind for the future. Maybe should give a bad review so less people go there.

Gardens wildlife birds beach ....
Great setting and access to beach and lake. Environmental values. Very relaxing all around, but the shower in the cabin was very very water saving.

We do have a regular maintenance schedule on shower and tap fittings, however the bore water we rely on can block some of the showers quicker than others. We apologise for any inconvenience due to this and would have been happy to replace it had we known. We look forward to your returning for another relaxing stay at South Durras with us.

Great cabins overlooking lake.
Lovely park that was close to lake and only a quick walk to the beach. Cabins were exceptionally clean and well maintained, great atmosphere and very peaceful. The kids loved all the kangaroos that were nearby.
