“Would stay here again in a heartbeat!”
This hotel was awesome! We stayed here because a friend who had stayed here before recommended it. Turns out she had told us the wrong hotel (she meant another hotel that was up the road). We were taking a vacation with these friends, and when they came by to see our hotel, they said it was WAY BETTER than the hotel that they'd meant to recommend. This hotel was not incredibly busy, though that may have something to do with the fact that it wasn't vacation season when we went. The pool was never overly crowded, and was usually empty by 9pm-ish, even though it didn't close until 11pm. They also have a very nice restaurant and bar right next to the pool, and at night they have live music. The view from the pool/restaurant area is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I were there for our anniversary, so having dinner looking over the ocean every night was really romantic. Also the bar makes the best pina coladas and strawberry daqueries I've ever had. This hotel is also walking distance from the beaches, several really good restaurants, a miniature golf course, and a bunch of other places that we didn't even get to check out. Most of the activities seem to be more family-oriented, which was nice. My only complaint would be that they charge 12$ a night for parking (I hate it when hotels do that - you're paying for a room, it should come with at least one parking space!).
“Holiday Inn, Clearwater Beach FLA”
We enjoyed a spacious suite (2 adjoining rooms)--one king bed and pullout sofa in adjoining room. Two bathrooms with shower in each. Amenities included fridge, microwave, sink, eating utensils. From the moment of check-in, all hotel staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and eager to please. The beachfront location was excellent. Outdoor pool area was very, very nice. Overall, we found this to be a great hotel, and we would definitely return for any future trips to Clearwater Beach.
“GREAT Vacation Hotel”
Very pleasantly surprised. Nice Holiday Inn. Our room was in a perfect location, gulf front with the nightly musical entertainer just outside and on the ground level...pleasing easy listening/beachy music. The only drawback to the hotel is there is only about 30 feet of beach. The remaining waterfront is rocky but our experience there was perfect as it was in March and the water was a bit too cool for us to enjoy anyway. There were notices in the room about being conservative with water by hanging up our towels and etc. so if they were not soiled we could re-use them. This is a great idea, however, the housekeeping staff changed out the towels everyday regardless. This action could be "tweeked" a bit to conserve water.
“GREAT hotel with or without kids!”
Great hotel!! Very nice & clean. Kids eat free breakfast, lunch & dinner....HUGE perk! We ate there every meal because of this and the restaurant is GREAT! Pool is wonderful with a pool side bar!! Walk to the beach is about 2-3 blocks...not bad! Plenty to do & see within walking distance. Overall, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed as a family. Will definitely be going back!

There are no words to describe how lovely our stay was at this hotel. The newly renovated rooms were comfortable, clean and very nice! Every staff member we encountered was nothing but professional, helpful, and kind! We have been to many hotels in the area and this one is by far the best!

“Very nice”
Wonderful room. Nice hi-def tv on the wall and a nice balcony. Also the restaurant had a very nice patio on the beach with live music (appropriate for dinner, not loud).
“Can't wait to go back”
This hotel was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We had a balcony that faced the parking lot which was fine. The pool was excellent. At first we didn't know where the beach was, but later realized it was a 3-4 block walk away. But that was OK for myself and 2 children. The pizza was delicious at the hotel restaurant.

Location was greatexcellent view, friendly staff.
