Adjacent to Sand Key Park in Clearwater Beach, the 10-acre Sheraton Sand Key Resort faces the Gulf of Mexico and offers myriad recreational amenities.
In addition to a beachfront pool and children's pool, the resort has three complimentary tennis courts and a rooftop health club (surcharge) with women's and men's saunas.
Five restaurants and bars include a casual grill, a tavern with live entertainment, and a poolside bar and snack bar. A 24-hour deli stocks sandwiches, snacks, and sundries.
Meeting and event space totals 24,000 square feet, and a business center provides high-speed Internet access, printing, and other services (surcharges).
Rooms
Guestrooms at this Clearwater Beach resort include the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed: custom-designed, extra-thick, plush-top mattress dressed with three sheets, fleece blankets, plump duvet, and five goose down/feather pillows. Bathrooms provide massaging showerheads. Sliding-glass doors open to furnished balconies with water or street views.
Other amenities include wireless Internet access (surcharge), safes, complimentary weekday newspapers, and flat-screen TVs with pay movies. Turndown service is available.
Club Harbor King rooms include added amenities, such as Continental breakfast and evening drinks.
All guestrooms are nonsmoking.

Rusty's - International specialties and Floribbean favorites. Buffet breakfast with daily specials. Fine dining at dinner, seafood and hand-carved prime rib on Saturday night, and more than 30 wines by the glass. Live jazz piano Tuesday–Saturday nights. Daily breakfast and dinner served.
The Island Grill - Casual, family-oriented dining. Pizza, sandwiches, salads, seafood, steak, and desserts. Open from late morning to late evening.
The Mainstay Tavern - Nautical-themed bar. Pool table, darts, and multiple large-screen TVs. Sandwiches, burgers, and full dinner menu. More than 20 brands of vodka, wines by the glass. Live entertainment Tuesday–Saturday. Open from early afternoon to late evening.
The Turtle Bar - Poolside bar. Full drink menu. Tropical beverages, including frozen specialties. Open from late morning to sunset, weather permitting.
Poolside Café - Poolside snack bar. Light fare including pizza, sandwiches, ice cream, and cold beer. Open from late morning to late afternoon, weather permitting.
Blue Water Provisions - Deli serving fresh sandwiches, beverages, snacks, and convenience items. Open 24 hours.
Room service - Available from early morning to late evening.
Recreation
The Sheraton Sand Key Resort features a beachfront pool and spa tub and a children's pool and playground.
Three tennis courts are available to guests, and equipment use is complimentary. A rooftop health club (surcharge) has women's and men's locker rooms with saunas and equipment that includes treadmills, stair machines, elliptical trainers, strength-training equipment, and free weights.
Beach lounge chairs, parasailing equipment, and cabanas can all be rented on the beach. Complimentary sand and pool toys are also provided (subject to availability). Beach volleyball is another popular activity.
Adjacent Sand Key Park offers a dog park and picnic facilities. Dolphins can sometimes be seen from the resort, and commercial dolphin-watching boat excursions are available. Speedboat cruises, deep-sea fishing, and other excursions can be arranged.

“Will definitely stay here again”
When we arrived for our 1 week stay, we had a room facing the parking lot. However, all we did was call the front desk, and they gladly moved us to a room facing the pool and the ocean! The rooms are nice and clean, bed was very comfortable, air conditioning worked well, staff was very accomodating. The food is excellent, even at the poolside cafe! Pool was large and the temperature was just right. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrella covered tables. The beach is beautiful and so are the sunsets, however, it is a hike to get to the ocean(and also from the parking lot to the lobby, as the lot always seemed to be full.) However, the jet skis were awesome!! Will absolutely stay here again!
“Wonderful, wonderful!!”
Never have I felt so well treated in a hotel in my life. We actually stayed an extra day, and booked a reservation at another Sheridan due to the wonderful hotel staff. This hotel is worht every penny!

The location was great. The beds were comfortable, service was prompt and I would defintely go back...
“Enjoyable visit”
All the hotel staff was very friendly. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. Wasn't impressed with the view. We got a harbor view, and was facing the tennis court. Don't really believe they have any "great" views. The beach was a short walk from the hotel, and not crowded. The pool area has an open bar and a outside restaurant with quick foods. The food and drinks were tasty. We had dinner at Rustys, the hotel's restaurant. The food was good and the chef accommodated a special request. It was off the main Clearwater Beach hub, which was nice and relaxing. I will stay here again the next time I go to Clearwater.

staff was great, beach access, not too close to busy area of clearwater, jet ski rentals on the beach and gorgeous surroundings, only problem was we went in july and parking was an issue at times.overall terrific!

After a week of doing the parks in Orlando, this was just what the doctor ordered to relax and unwind. The hotel staff were excellent, especially the porters and bar staff. The beach is fantastic. To fully appreciate the views a Gulf View room is recommended.
“Wow!!! The absolute best hotel I've ever stayed at!!!!”
I was extremely impressed with the hotel staff. From start to finish every staff member that we encountered was very friendly. My husband and I took our two sons, they are 4 and 7 years old, during Christmas. This is the first time that I have ever traveled away from home (Ohio) during the holiday and I was afraid that it may take away from that holiday home comfort. Wow, was I wrong. We had the absolute best time and none of us wanted to come back home. The staff made over my kids and played with them every time we were out of our room, it seemed as though they knew us yet had never met us before. As for the hotel, it was very nice and clean. The places to eat seemed to have a very nice selection, from casual meals all day to elegant dining in the evening at Rusty's. The pool was wonderful, my kids said that it was their favorite part of vacation. The beach was very nice. My husband said that he wished that he knew the beach was so deep before he went so that he could bring his football, this is the perfect beach for family fun. They have volley ball nets and plenty of wide open beach space before you ever get to the water. I strongly recommend the Sheraton Sand Key Resort, I know that we will be going back.
“2nd year in a row”
Great hotel on the Gulf coast. Rooms are good staff is great. 2006 Brought whole family and rented 7 rooms 2007 we just went for some R & R. Stayed in same room we were in during 2006 without asking, last year we rented directly this year through Expedia. Amenities Beach, Cabanas, Tennis, Gym, Spa, Pool, Hottub, & Volleyball. Bar and cafe at poolside. One elegant Bistro, one Pub and one sandwich shop. Jetskis and Parasails can be rented on beach. GREAT LOCATION
“Another great stay!”
This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at the Sheraton Sand Key to celebrate our anniversary. This stay was just as fabulous as last year! The staff are wonderful and made us feel really welcome. They had our room ready for us at checkin several hours early, which great! The room was clean and had plenty of space. Very nice pool and pool staff were fantastic. We will definitely be staying here again!

A Terrific place to stay, the staff make us feel like a King and Queen from the moment the airport shuttle stopped at the door and it never stopped until we drove off on our way back to the airport!! We are already planning a return trip hopefully in the fall of 2008 with the children as well next time. I honestly can't say enough about the entire experience. Truly a 5 Star hotel as far as we are concerned. The Food, the Service, the Staff, the location, everything was Perfect!!! We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Sand Key.
