This place has a terrible odor. Smells like weed on the 1st floor, and just musty and bad cologne on the 3rd and 4th floors. The water won’t get hot and the WiFi doesn’t work.

Black out shades, quiet. Walkable to the Tropicana field. Their breakfast was really well presented and fresh. The staff are super friendly and willing to please. Parking was great, valet.

Love the free shuttle to and from downtown Saint Petersburg. The desk was also able to hold our luggage while we explored downtown. Thanks so much Tru by Hilton hotel.

Although we only stayed one night we were very impressed by the hotel. It was clean, welcoming and had more amenities than you can ask for. The staff were extremely nice and I will definitely be back! A !!

We usually love staying at the Tru By Hilton Hotels for their rooms, beds and great locations. We decided to plan a weekend getaway to St.Pete and noticed they had a location downtown. It was located near lots of shops and restaurants within short walking distance, also very close to the beachline which was very convenient if you wanted to travel there for the day which was great! We stayed 3 nights and really our only complaints were that the staff wasn’t very friendly when we checked in, and throughout the stay with the maids. They also require you to valet parking because there is no other parking on site, which is 18$ a day. We parked the valet for the 3 nights to have noticed on the second day that one of nightly valet attendants hit our rental car. The hotel said they are not affiliated with the valet company and they couldn’t do anything but comp our valet parking which was frustrating and then the valet just took photos and told us we would be in contact really nothing was handled. Didn’t appreciate the valet attendant talking to his manager on speaker making it sound like they were going to do what they could to prove they didn’t do which was a bit sneaky probably to save themselves to have to pay. All I can say is be cautious when parking here, and make sure you wait until the valet leaves with your car and parks in the garage to make sure they don’t take it for a joy ride! I’m sorry Tru St.Pete we won’t be back! Such a shame!

All staff members were friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast and late night snacks in the lobby. Located right on Central Ave. Within walking distance to downtown and you’ll pass by many restaurants and pubs on the way. Or you can jump on the Jolly Trolley and ride for free right to St. Pete’s Pier. They have a small splash pool, but a swimming pool would be nice. Good value and would stay again.

The hotel is no frills but has all one would need. The location is PERFECT... up and coming neighborhood Something for everyone. Game room and breakfast a plus. Overall.. Great!

My husband and I recently took a road trip to St. Petersburg, Florida, and decided to stay at the Hilton for the weekend before Valentine's Day. Although the staff was wonderful, we had a terrible experience with the shower, towels, toilet paper, and bed sheets. Firstly, the shower water pressure was extremely slow, making it difficult to take a comfortable shower. Secondly, the toilet paper was rough and felt more like a brush than something soft and gentle. Thirdly, the towels had a strong detergent smell and were not soft at all. Lastly, the bed sheets had the same smell as the towels and were very uncomfortable. On the second night of our stay, my husband and I began experiencing itching and skin irritation all over our bodies. We visited our doctor after returning home and were informed that we had been bitten by bed bugs and had an allergic reaction to the detergent used for washing the bed sheets and towels. We were very disappointed and uncomfortable during our stay at the Hilton. Although we regret having to provide a negative review, we hope that our experience will help prevent similar situations from happening to other guests in the future. Marieta & Etch

The pillows are horrible! Would have given 5 stars but pillows are important for restful sleep. These pillows had no shape or support. The hotel layout is nice, the workout area is great and the sundeck is very clean and convenient. Great location.

Really nice hotel. Probably about a block and a half from Tropicana Field. Used the shuttle service. Had a pool and pool table. Workout room was a little small, but sufficient since there was no one else in there. Breakfast was good. For me, mattress was a little too soft as were the pillows. Would have given it a 5 star if it wasnt for the small gym and the towels. Really rough. That said, I would definitely stay there again
