"5 stars for their reception staff although for the most part reception was only manned by one person so during busy times there was a long wait. Housekeeping let hotel down. Day 1 no housekeeping due to illness. Had to go to reception for clean towels etc. Compensated with a free drink which was good. Day 2, we were given hand towels instead of bath towels and full bin wasn’t emptied. Day 3, no bath mat left and empty tissue box not replaced. Other than that this is a pretty good hotel....

Overall a great place to stay for a visit to the area. "

Everything is walkable and the Rhinefalls are easily accessible by train. The room was very quiet and well appointed.Breakfast was fabulous. If your expecting to see horses, you'll be disappointed, as they have been gone for a number of years now and equipment and school not used for a long time. Food at the hotel is also very expensive even for Switzerland standards, so would recommend eating out. Parking is also limited at the hotel and on a first come basis. "

"The hotel was beautiful. Very comfortable. They have a mini farm for kids with rabbits, ducks and geese. The grounds are well kept and all the walkways are washed every day.
