Excellent stay
Second time to stay in the property and never was it disappointing. Staff was very courteous, polite and accomodating. Will definitely stay here again.

We really liked this hotel...the bath was a nice touch...the staff were really friendly and helpful...we liked its location.. it was handy to food, parks, mrt....

Worth the money, recommended
For $35 / night, it can’t be beaten. The hotel comes with jacuzzi which i fully utilized (have to upgrade for that), a mini fridge, TV with different channels and even adult films lol. The place is quiet and clean as you would expect. There is daily housekeeping. The staff here are very hospitable. The drawback would be that it is quite a walk to the metro, nothing much going out right outside outside the hotel. Another issue I encounter was the humidity inside the room. It gets very sweaty at night when I put on the blanket to sleep. If i take off the blanket then it is cold. And there is no heater in the room.

Horrible and Terrible Hotel Service Staff
Hotel looks a bit old and dated. Booked two rooms and requested to be next to each other. In the end was given one room on level 3 and another room on level 5! During check in, Hotel staff Mr Liao could not find bookings for both rooms and insisted we only booked one room. After my persistence on searching name they suddenly “found” my booking and blamed it on their system. However Liao is not even apologetic! Terrible training by hotel.

It’s very outdated and not cleaned. The only elevator broke down. TV control didn’t work well. The room (706) had a very strong urine smell. No matter how I sprayed clean the bathroom with the shower hose, it wouldn’t go away. It wasn’t like this when we stayed at this hotel before. Will definitely be our last time staying here. Very disappointed.

Pleasant Stay
Small hotel but the room service is very good - they cleaned our room daily. Staffs are friendly and can speak English - easier for foreigner like us. Hotel is in central area. Overall - pleasant stay.

the reason i gave 3 for cleanness is because the room has a moldy smell when we first arrived , im pretty sure its from the old carpet, But the cleaning lady did a great job on cleaning. beakfast is not so appetizing either.

Perfect hotel. All the staff were very helpfull and friendly. The room was clean - jacuzzi bath was great. Hotel is walking distance to two metro stations. Easy to travel to all attractions within Taipei.

They have free water, snacks like chips and cookies , coffee, juices, soda machine all available in lobby BUT THEY DONT TELL YOU. PLACE IS REALLY CREEPY. BATHROOM YUCK. Its not for people to stay overnight . Good for QUICK USE

Relatively clean and modern hotel, if a little far from the metro. Staff are polite and can understand basic English. Free breakfast in the basement cafeteria, with a choice of either a Taiwanese or Western style meal. Close to shops and convenience stores.

Good medium priced hotel.
We stayed 4 nights in May 2019. Good value-for-money medium-priced hotel. Simple set breakfast, comfortable pillows and Kingsize bed, walk-in shower and a half size bathtub. Air conditioning worked very well. 10 minute walk to the metro (MRT). Pleasant staff.

The property was clean. A very friendly staff. The hotel near to MRT station if you don't mind to walk around 700-900m. Convenient Store just nearby. It's a pleasant stay for 4 nights.. Maybe it could be much more better if you could provide 2 pillow per guest.

location of the property is not good, under the freeway and is not matched with the pictures on website. Homeless people sleep around the near the hotel entrance. Hotel is smelly and window cannot be opened because it almost next to the freeway. Book 4 nights and cannot stand the moldy smell and the surrounding area, want to just stay there for one day and canceled the rest. Hotel cancellation policy is always charge one extra day even you come and stay there for one day and or two day and give them cancellation in 48 hour advance. Hotel has jet tub in room. This is a plus. Serving breakfast in underground level.

Taipei Bchic
Bchic is a good hotel. It was very comfortable (walls are a little thin though). Staff are friendly and helpful. It’s not far from shopping and restaurants and a ten-minute walk to the MRT.

Basic Business Hotel, Not Boutique
This is a standard business hotel that you can find around Taiwan for less money and in more convenient neighborhoods. It seems to be an older hotel and doesn't fit with the Beauty Hotels boutique brand. I have stayed in other Beauty Hotels locations and liked them. The room is slight musty, which is a common experience in Taiwan due to the humidity, but made worse due to old carpet. The hotel is hard to find and a bit inconvenient. Don't pay more than a 2 or 2.5-star price. Also note that there is a bathtub, not a hot tub, and the breakfast is a choice between a Western set and an Asian set, not a buffet.
