Good location and no frill stay
This is my 2nd time staying at Galaxy. I choose it because of good location- 2mins walk from ximen exit 1. The staffs are friendly and approachable. Bed sheets are smooth and comfortable. It is good for guests who do not spend much time in the room and spend time sightseeing. It is a comfy place for a good night sleep. Free flow of mineral water for guests and wifi too. I will be back for a 3rd time.

Near XiMenDing MRT
- Near XiMenDing MRT & XiMenDing night market, and the Red House - Has no elevator (only elevator for your baggage) - Thin wall and door - Room had mosquitoes and got bitten - Free bottles of water at the lobby - Body soap & shampoo, shaver, towels, some other necessities provided - Room had built-in plugs for UK 3 pin plugs - TV programmes were good

Mini room in mini galaxy
I am a solo traveller who stayed for 3 nights in a double bed room. Room is small so 1 person is just nice. Room comes with bathroom and toilet. No fridge, no kettle. Towels and basic toiletries available. i stay on high floor but they do have a mini lift for lugguges transfer only. Two lady staffs on duty (1 day and 1 night) are friendly. Btw i speak chinese. bottle water are free for use from the reception. Wifi is free and strong too. The rooms on ground floor, opp the reception counter is too close for comfort and noise disturbance. Get a higher floor. Cleanliness is my only complaint because it is not done properly. The previous stayer for my room, could be a lady as i could see many long hair in the bathroom and near the bed. Bed is hard type and is good for my back. Very easy to find once you exit from exit 1 of ximen station. 3mins slow walk. Turn your head to the left at exit 1and spot the mini galaxy neon light signboard. I will come back again if i am at taipei.

There is no elevator but there is a dumbwaiter lift for your bags. On the upside there is no fourth floor so if you’re on 5 or 6 (only one room on 6) you are spared a floor on your upward trek. My room was tiny - I mean tiny; but it was very clean. The stairs and hotel itself are a little (very) tired and unkept. The staff are pleasant and friendly and the price is pretty good.

Everything is perfect. Except that...
Everything is perfect , except that the room is just a little bit too tight. But all in all it was a good stay. Love the location and the place.

Very Near to Ximen MRT Station!
The hotel is very near to Ximen MRT Station, like less than 5 minutes walking to the hotel from the Ximen MRT Station. The Staff is friendly and helpful The room is clean and comfortable, just that the bathroom is detached from bedroom, but it's still fine with me. Just that there's no elevator, but it's fine with me. Very good hotel and highly recommended!

Hotel is very near to Ximending station!
Hotel comes with a lift for baggage which is definitely a plus point compared to those without! Room is pretty small but the bed is comfortable!

Great Location but Disappointing Second Stay
This was my second time staying at the Galaxy Mini Inn. The first time I stayed here, I had a single room with a shared bathroom in the basement of the main building and it was great (I recommend asking for a room there if you stay at this hotel). The bathroom was shared, but private and the rooms were quiet. The location is perfect for staying in the Ximen area and it is less than a minute walk to exit 1 of the Ximen MRT station. For the price, it was a great deal! This time I stayed in a room in the other building (also conveniently located next to the main building). The room was in a hostel style private room setting on the 3rd floor (no elevator which might be an issue if you have a lot of luggage). The bathrooms and showers are dorm room style and the sink area is open in the main hall area. The rooms were very loud (you could hear everything in the bathroom/sink area and from the other rooms). The biggest issue that I had though is the phone calls from the front desk and door knocking from the staff in the morning. Checkout is at 12pm and at 10:30am, I woke up to a phone call from the front desk reminding me that checkout time was at 12pm.The staff knocked on my door at 10:45am, 11am, and again at 11:25am to see if I was gone. I felt pressured to leave the room and felt uncomfortable being there. The hotel might want to change their checkout time to 11am if they want guests to leave earlier.

Nice location
Hotel's location near to xi men ding street and mrt station. However, in terms of cleanliness and comfortness, it's worth 2 stars. Bed is hard. Water temperature is not stable, sometimes hot sometimes cold.

fuss free essentials only hotel near ximending
hotel is easy to find, <5 mins from ximending station exit 1. staff are nice and can understand English well. The room that I had was quite small and tall people might have a difficulty sleeping in the bed. room is clean enough and the sheets has some small stains but are washed clean. this hotel is not for picky guests but well worth the price for the convenience and the amenities provided.

Nice hotel near MRT
Good location. My second time staying at this hotel. Previously was single bed, given a room at the adjacent building (above nails shop). This time had a double room, given at level 2 of main building. The cleaniless is not as good. Seen some stuffs under the bed. Had a baby cockroach. Nonetheless, a good place to stay. Not for fussy customer. Will return again.

4 days stay with friends
The room we booked for two is too small for two people to stay and we don't have much space to put our luggage to be honest. The room isn't very clean even after the room is said to have been cleaned. There is a lift but only for sending the luggages upstairs, for us we have to walk up and downstairs instead of taking lifts. I guess the only good thing is the location which is very very close to the underground, and the neighbourhood is not noisy at all.

Due to last minute booking, this hotel was the only one available that could cater to 3 adults. Overall experience for the stay was not too bad. Room had double-decked double beds as seen in the hotel room pictures. Room size was of good sized for 4 adults. However, only one access key was available, which meant that everyone had to travel in/out together.

Was originally allocated a room in their main building which turned out to be a love motel room for short term stayers. Room was small and rather dim. Room only had space for a double bed with no space for luggage to be placed. Was allowed to change to another room in their annex building (approximately 3 minutes walk further away) which was much bigger and even had two drawer shelves and a clothing cabinet, washing machine and fridge. However, no water dispenser or kettle was available. Annex building security was tight and required card-access for unlocking of doors.

Great Budget Hotel in Ximending
The hotel is in the Ximending area, 2-min walk from Ximen Station. I booked a single room for 3 nights. The hotel has 2 buildings, this time I was given a room in the basement of the main building where you check-in. The room however is smaller than those in the other building, which is just metres away. Location is unbeatable if you like Ximending. Very affordable prices for the area. Bed was comfortable. Strong wifi. Free tea/coffee by the reception. Plenty of TV channels although most are in Chinese.

The sign isn't in English but it does have mini in English on the title.Tucked away and can be hard to find but is close to subway station. Very clean and they provided free drinking water for the stay. The blankets were nice but the beds and pillows were pretty hard. Small bit cozy room and had a nice tv. If you don't mind small quarters and a harder bed then it should be perfect for you.

Great location. Less than 50m from the Subway Ximen Station Exit No. 1. Staff are friendly. But shld hv elevator for guests to reach higher floors. Room/bed/bathroom condition is acceptable. Need better facility for hanging clothes.

The room was "Mini" as the name implies. It was not in the same building as the hotel lobby, but they converted a floor of an office building for our room. But location was great. It was clean but beds were a tad too hard for me.

Bad experience staying in this Galaxy Mini Inn
First time staying in such a hotel without any good facilities. Building is very very far from the main lobby. Don't feel secure when there is nobody attending to the whole entire building. Is a hotel more for those having fun or one night stand. Coz while waiting to checkin there are couples who came in and enquired on room rate for a couple of hours for their pleasure. I immediately felt disgusted by such a gesture. Felt over PAID and is not worth the price to stay in such a hotel. VERY VERY DISSAPPOINTMENT. Hopefully will get some refund back !!!

I booked single room with shared bathroom, reach early that day but I was allow to check in early about 1pm due to room availability. Single room without windows, only 1 of the shared bathroom looks much more cleaner. Staff is friendly. May be double room or more will be better.

A good choice for your holiday trip.
The location is really very convenient. About 3 mins walk to the train station. There is lift where you need not carry your luggage all the way up. The staff are really very friendly and helpful. Reasonable price. Will choose to stay there again.

Checked in late around 1am. The receptionist welcomed me with big smile :) and showed me where my room is. This hostel has no lift so be prepared to walk up 3rd floor up to your room. Walls in between room are thin I could hear other occupants. Room is clean & small but I'm okay with it.

Dirty hotel in an excellent area!
Although the location is a 10 (2 min from Ximen MRT), that's pretty much everything that's great about this hotel. The corridor and carpets leading to your room are dirty, the room was cleaned very bad, with hair everywhere and the toilet wasn't even cleaned properly. The room is small but that was ok for the 2 of us. The AC leaked water all through the night and it was just the uncleanness of the room and toilet that got me. The bed however was also comfortable.
