"Our room was beautiful with three huge windows overlooking the canal. Leiden was a lovely university town with lots of good restaurant options. My husband is a cyclist, and was pleased with the ease of renting an electric bike from Easyfiets and it was easy to navigate the region with the Dutch bike routing system. Perfect temperature for biking and no rain the first week of May! Very kind and helpful staff—especially Anna who cleaned our room!"

"The hotel is amazingly convenient to everything by tram and bus, and the area around it (Archipelbuurt) is charming and has many nice restaurants and my favorite cheese shop (Alexanderhoeve). My room was clean and functional. The elevator is slow but it does the trick when you have luggage. The stairs are fine at other times"

"The bathtub in my room was amazing. Everything was done with care it appeared. So cute and unique. Felt the ambience from my window that overlooked the street below. Staff was all really friendly. I saw a couple of little doggos so that must be an option. Would stay again. "

"Hotel in quiet location convenient for Leiden and coast. We had the smallest room ‘Amsterdam’ billed as a single with 2 beds. There was no storage space, only one small cupboard. The beds were inset into wall and one was accessible only by a ladder, and on a balcony with little in the way of a safe handrail. Only the reasonably fit would be able to access this bed, and only the foolhardy would attempt a descent in the night. The bathroom was luxurious with the use of robes and slippers. The...
