Wonderful staff and the restaurant as well as the proximity to the beach and Keukenhof was excellent. What stood out to me was how quiet this is situated in a Dutch neighborhood. I loved it.
Very charming exterior with lovely patio lounge access to the ocean but it rained and we did not hike.
Brick hallway was musty smelling, no elevator, drab decor, ants around coffee maker.
Hotel in need of refurbishment in all areas. Bathroom particularly bad. Breakfast limited. Bedroom very basic. For euro 220 per night we were expecting luxury. We got below average. Everything was done to a minimum- staffing, towels, dining bedding. Don’t believe the pictures on booking sites they have not representative

We had excellent service by the front desk personnel and from our waiter, Amor, during our stay. The dining room presents well and the meals were excellent. The room in which we stayed showed many signs of wear over the years, and is in need of some renovation or even cosmetic attention. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well each night. The ability to rent e-bikes from the hotel was a big plus which we took advantage of, so that we could tour through the dunes and along the blooming tulip fields. Be sure to check out the binder with numerous bike routes that you can take if you choose to stay at this hotel.
It was very convenient to the gardens. Great place for bicycling & hiking.

Room and decor is tired and no facilities in room to make drinks- this is s first for us!
Dinner was good but expensive for what it was

good place to stay
fantastic hotel, staff and position were excellent. bathrooms need a refurbishment but beds are wonderful. overall its really good value and welcoming.
If u have a car, the hotel is okay. But if u don't then u have to rent a bike or walk 1.30 h to the downtown. It would be great if the hotel had a shuttle transportation.
Also, the free internet doesnt work well.
But, other than that the hotel seems okay :)

Some good, some not so good.
Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, breakfast was very good, but the room was a problem. To control the heat you had to get down on your knees, locate the radiator knob through a hole and try to guess how much of a turn would reach comfort. Multiple guesses required. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and had swordfish. It came nearly raw. I sent it back--still not cooked and by now the sides were cold. The bill included the dish I could not eat, but the manager removed it when I objected.
This is more of a restaurant and event hotel than a hotel, the restaurant is pleasent, nice breakfast , nice geografic situation if you have a car, manny rooms for meeting weedings...
But the rooms are deceiving, ugly decoration, no tea or coffee in the room, more or less clean, small TV...
Very pleasant hotel, with friendly and helpful staff situated in a quiet location out of town on the edge of the beach-dunes. Very good breakfast. Being that bit out of town, you do need a car to get anywhere.
