Property was clean and quiet. Did not expect the extra charges at arival. The explanatiom by staff was that expedia does not charge the extra person fee, the non optional transportation and breakfast. But mind you i did add all the people that were staying. Booked 2 rooms. I did make it clear that we did not need transportation or breakfast. The breakfast food was terrible.

Took 5 minutes to check in finally we got our after 5 hours driving we open the door and it was a guy inside fixing something even drink one bottle of water room smells like disposal water and found pieces of the map on the shower and the room whit hair on it next day around 8:00 am a lady wants knock on the door to clean the room when we only stayed one day no sings to hang outside the door letting know not disturb I wouldn’t choose this hotel again I only like the continental breakfast.

The smell on tge second floor is unbearable 💔 theres a rotten smell 😫 coming from the drain. I can still smell it as I write this review. The staff is friendly, the room is nice but the smell.... OMG

The place was clean, unfortunately, house cleaning never cleaned our room the first night. We ran out of toilet paper and only 1 towel was provided.

Booked room at city Express Otay because Expedia property details stated it was family friendly and free cribs were available. Unfortunately, upon a check in when asked for a crib for my 10 month old the front desk attendant stated they don’t manage cribs.

Al llegar al hotel, la recepcionista nos dijo que nuestra habitacion aun no estaba disponible para poder ingresar (eran las 5 de la tarde) que regresaramos mas tarde, le comentamos que deseabamos descansar ya y solo nos dijo que no podia hacer nada solo que esperaramos y regresaramos mas tarde, pero si llegabamos mas tarde de las 9 no nos garantizaba tener habitacion disponible.

The level of humidity in the rooms is annoying, and the bathroom odor and humidity removal do not work. The ceiling is like paper. You will hear any noise coming from upstairs. More excellent hotels are in front of the street; I recommend you go there. the breakfast here is not tasty at all.

Property was wonderful staff was great. I like the continental breakfast but our room did have a problem with the AC unit. It was really loud and it did not blow cold air other then that everything was great would recommend this place

The hotel is close to a large nice shopping area which is very convenient. There is also a Starbucks right outside the hotel for when you need to wake up early and start driving asap. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The only issue I encountered was the lady that helped me out at the counter. She wasn’t very friendly at all. That always takes away from the experience. Other than that everything went smooth.

It is safe to stay and that is why we always choose this hotel. Unfortunately this time the toilet would not flush with the button. My husband had to take the top off. Also the heater was not working. We notified the front desk and they sent someone up but did not fix the problem nor they gave us some kind of discount. Too tired to argue.
