I reserved my room with Expedia as you know you pay in advance; however this hotel charged me $244.50 extra and some reason Saturday Isabell billing manager calls me and ask was I staying an extra day I told her to look at my reservation it says May 10 - 12 pre-paid per Isabell said we are booked and charged me for an extra day how can that be possible when my check out day is for Sunday they charged me for Sunday?. MY advice is to when going to Topeka NEVER Go to this Hyatt.

I had a late check in as well as a pet with me and Travis at the front desk was super nice about it and explained everything. Also asked if I needed any accommodation for my pet. Great service!

Arrived late at the Hotel, we were put in the wrong room. Around 1 am, two visibly drunk men with open containers hanging out right in front of the entrance with the front desk staff. I was intimidated to go to my car. The window shade in our room would not open, bathroom had dirty floors, elevator was broken. Total dump.

The front desk Agent Jade was awesome. And the General Manager Maria as well as the cook Sherita. Even though the property was being renovated they made us feel comfortable. I loved the room very spacious and had all the amenities needed. My family and I enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again when visiting Topeka.

I can't say enough good things about the staff. Happy and helpful folks! The location is easy to get to from I-70 and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was fabulous - a full suite for less than $100. They are completing a full renovation now, just the exterior but it did not affect my stay at all. Great place!

Only one elevator working , room was dirty , the lady serving breakfast was very rude , she was throwing dishes around .coffee was out , food was cold . I’ve stayed in the past and I did not have this experience. I hope this gets fixed because I love staying here . It is so convenient close to all store and restaurants.

A lot of noise from the highway at night. Doors slamming. Breakfast area was dirty, tables were not cleaned, garbages overflowing, and most of food was gone despite us coming well within the allotted breakfast time. Not a staff person in sight to ask for the water container to be replenished. Renovations are being completed, but it didn’t look like any of the work was done with care or attention to detail. We slept and ate but unfortunately, it was not an enjoyable stay.

Heater in room would not shut off due to draft from window, so room was a sauna with the only relief being to turn on the A/C. There was no phone in the room to contact the front desk, but each time I stopped at the desk there was never a person. We were in line for food before breakfast started and within 10 minutes there was no food left and we got nothing. No one was at the desk or in the breakfast room to get more food, the coffee pots had not been filled at that point. I knocked on all the staff office doors but no one responded. We had to leave by 7:20 for our competition and never got any food. They really need to retrain their staff and add phones to the rooms so that people can contact someone from their rooms.

Only 1 working elevator. My main issue though, is the that the front office employee is working alone and is terribly overworked. This left people waiting for long periods. This is not her fault because she was working hard and was giving good customer service, but there needed to be more help. She was checking people in, bringing things up to peoples rooms, bartending, and making the food. One person on duty isn’t always an issue late night, but this was at 7pm.

Had to endure a cold shower the first morning - didn't appreciate that at all. There were significant construction projects going on outside and a number of unfinished projects inside as well. The property was just not very welcoming overall.

I have been here a few times before. They are in the process of remodeling, but each time I've come I've seen progress and improvement. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating, and I'll continue to stay here when I come into town.
