This was our favorite place we stayed in France. So peaceful and quaint. Woke up to the sunrise on the mountain side and birds chirping. The spa was gorgeous and had a variety of steam rooms and saunas. We loved the breakfast. Tons of parking

I made the choice for 1 double bedroom in the contemporary building. At any time on Expedia or their website there is a picture of the building. It’s just ugly!!! I was so upset with the receptionist because she told me that I booked my room with Expedia so the customers who booked through Expedia they don’t care about those customers, she even told me that we were supposed to call the hotel to ask questions about the building. I can’t imagine myself calling from US and asked the description of the building and if the parking is big enough. The hotel and not really a château has 65 bedrooms and not even 40 parking spaces!!! 2 small parking level 1 & 2 level 2 you have to drive a few meters on the opposite way in the street so very dangerous but the hotel is saying the opposite!!! We were so upset, no manager and she was supposed to call us but she forgot! The only thing we can say the bedroom was nice and clean but I won’t recommend this hotel at all.

The area was not well lighted, but the chateau is very safe behind the large iron gates. I didn’t feel comfortable walking to restaurants and bars so we did room service. Unfortunately, I fell going into the bathroom since there’s a big step down and since I had a glass with me, it broke when I fell and my right hand was bleeding profusely. I fractured my right arm, my husband had to clean up the room since the concierge didn’t have any help. He offered but we were afraid he wouldn’t do a good job since he couldn’t find a duster in the hotel. We complained the next morning while checking out, but iré only got a “sorry about that!” I think the little tiny sign they have in the door that goes to the bathroom warning about the step should be much larger. In any case, it cut our vacation short since we had to do a quick return home. Nice hotel and room otherwise.

I found the place really beautiful and quiet. The room was confortable and the attention was great. However, I was a little dissapointed by the massage service which was fine but too short (less than the 50 min announced).

This is.a beautiful hotel with excellent food and outstanding service. We used during our trip to Spain and back to the UK and staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating to our late arrival. Everybody was extremely friendly and kind. Chateu Belmont, we will definitely come back

Terrible overnight experience with my family. Arrived after travelling all day to find there restaurant was fully booked! Too tired we ordered room service which took over an hour to come and when it my children food was cold and had no cutlery. Our food looked like left overs. The bar service was very slow. Such a shame as it’s looks a very nice hotel just didn’t have enough staff maybe???

It is a beautiful place with a garden and parking is free. But most will get a room in an annnex building, which is not really the "chateau" building. The room layout could improve, too much stuff in a small room. The huge desk and TV set kind of block the passage to one side of the bed. It won't be convenient if you get to toilet in the midnight in the dark.... The hotel is a long walk to the old town...

This was only an overnightvstay but it was the perfect last night of our holiday. A lovely surprise in a city. It was attractive in a beautiful setting. The room was large and very comfortable with excellent facilities. This will be our stopover of choice on future trips.

The grounds are lovely ideal if you have a dog, the food was good including the breakfast which we ate in our room. We booked a junior suite, which was more like a large room. The only downside was that I suffered from a few insect or flea bites and our dog would not stop scratching even though he is treated with Advocate and Advantix to prevent this type of thing.

Location was good being just outside Tours. Most of the staff were very good apart from reception. Rooms were reasonably comfortable but very poorly designed as was the bar/restaurant area.

Beautiful setting/grounds. Easy to get to & liked that it had secure parking. Ate in the restaurant - weather was not warm enough to sit out on the patio which was a shame because it looked lovely. Food however was wonderful. Very busy (even on a Thursday night) so make a reservation if you want to eat there.

Good short stay
Pleasant stay and easy to walk to tram into city. The city of Tours was wonderful. Beautiful setting with lovely grounds to walk dog. Lovely room, if a little dated, with very nice terrace overlooking the central courtyard. Unfortunately this courtyard was also the outside eating area so was very noisy as a large group were staying and had dinner till late below our room.

The property grounds were beautiful. The staff was very friendly. Restaurants outside the property were a bit far, and parking is tight (and scarse). But the rest was excellent.

Amazing stay as long as you don’t need internet
Wonderful and new very clean accommodations, staff were delightful the only qualm I have is that the wifi is very bad. It is a 25min walk to the city centre or a quick drive.

Excellent hotel
Fantastic hotel, lovely room in the new part of the building. Our room even had a little kitchenette, with a sink, fridge, coffee machine, microwave and hob. Lovely modern bathroom with branded toiletries. Comfy bed and pillows and electric black out blinds And large tv with plenty of English channels compared to the other hotels we have stayed in in France. Pool/ sauna and steam room were great but would be better if there was a outdoor sunbathing area as you weren’t allowed to take the loungers from the pool outside. Only downside was the air con in the room was set to 19 and couldn’t be adjusted, wasn’t really powerful enough to feel it. The lady on reception was quite rude but all other staff were great. I would definitely return to this hotel. It was our favourite from the 6 we recently stayed in.

Definitely not a Chateau experience!! It says dog friendly - and even though they charge an extra €20 per night for the privilege, it seems the dog is an inconvenience, not a welcomed guest. Spa disappointing too A supposed birthday treat for my wife, but we were tempted to just go home after the first night. Thankfully Tours and the rest of the Loire has many redeeming features.
