"This property had one of the nicest staffs I have ever experienced when travel. Tim, the manager, did a wonderful job welcoming guests and making them comfortable. He has just taken over the property and it already is an excellent place to stay. 5 stars"

"The hotel is in an amazing location! We very much enjoyed our stay and would come back. The only critique I have is that the hotel layout can be confusing. Only one elevator goes to the basement level but there’s no sign that indicates that. Also, there is a stairway to the pool and hot tub that is visible from many of the rooms so it looks like it’s the exit to the main outside area. However, it’s attached to the restaurant and apparently the staff get annoyed when people use those stairs to get to the outside area. The signage for the staff-approved exit to the outside area should be improved to avoid confusion and tension between guests and staff. "

"The Acadia Hotel is a pleasant place to stay in Bar Harbor. It had a homey feel and the room was very comfortable. The addition of fresh made omelets and healthy breakfast choices was a fantastic touch. We will be staying for future anniversary weekends! "
