“A very pleasant place to stay”
The Size and comfort of the rooms is great. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would very much recommend this hotel to everyone.
“cracking weekend in Valencia”
Hotel location is excellent, walking distance to everything we wanted to see, and more tapas bars than you would ever need. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Valencia.
“Perfect location”
The hotel looks lovely from the outside, as does the ceramics museum opposite. It was easy to find near the Colon metro station and on a quiet main road. On arrival we were given one of the few rooms without a balcony and so we asked at reception if we could change. By 5pm that evening we were moved to a larger room with balcony facing the museum, they were very helpful and polite. A few mornings we asked at reception for directions and travel info and they were more than happy to help. There is definitely a bad smell in the hotel but as this is only in the lobby area and never can be smelt in the room, and the rest of Valencia can have quite a bad smell (very poor sewer systems) it is not a problem. The location of the hotel is perfect and I would definitely stay again. It is minutes from the metro for access to the beach, and has all the shops and restaurants you could need near by. Plaza de la Reina is just round the corner and a favourite for ice cream and treats, while Plaza de la Virgen is behind it with lovely places to eat at night.
“Modern hotel in excellent location”
Fantast hotel in a great location. Easy walking distanc from all the sights and the train station. Buffet breakfast was fresh and had a big varity. Big rooms, big beds and big bathroom. I will be back.
“Excellent choice in Valencia”
We stayed two nights at the Melia SH Ingles in Valencia during October 2009, and found everything excellent overall. Great location, quiet rooms with firm beds, friendly staff. Only odd thing was that the lobby area had a sewer-like smell perhaps related to some construction work going on outside. The room did not have this smell, however, and I would not hesitate to stay here again. We pre-paid for our room through Expedia's website, to get a good discount on the rate, and this worked out well.

“Superb customer service in a beautiful hotel in an amazing location”
Hotel Ingles was a quiet, lovely hotel in the perfect location, close to bus, tube and train. Also right in the centre of Valencia, perfect to walk anywhere in Valencia without getting tired feet. Right next to beautiful Ceramic museum. Quiet at night, perfect for sleeping. Expensive breakfast at 12 € each but great selection with fresh Valencia oranges and as many chorizos as you like. The staff all spoke perfect English and were more than helpful, meeting our every request. Certainly provided more than most other hotels I've stayed in. Lots of great restaurants on your doorstep. Nice designer shops down the road. The perfect place!
“short stay”
My room was quite small - okay for a single. Quiet, which is quite a bonus in Valencia. Cafe and bar quite expensive.
“Recommended Valencia hotel”
Centrally located in the Old part iof Valencia City it is close to many of the main tourist attractions. Rooms are spacious and were cleaned well, and the hotel is located in a quiet street, with a good restaurant, where relatively cheap lunches can also be purchased. Happy to recommend it.
