Experience the charm of the largest city in Galicia, surrounded by the beautiful landscape drawn by the Vigo estuary and delight your taste buds with its excellent cuisine.

Find one of the fantastic Vigo holiday package deals to discover the pretty corners of this “cidade olívica”, or city of olives. Without a doubt, you'll be fascinated by Praza de America, with the impressive Porta do Atlantico sculpture, as well as the horses on Praza de España. On Porta do Sol, apart from exploring the city's historic centre, you'll find the most important cultural centres and museums, such as MARCO, Vigo's Museum of Contemporary Art.

Some say that Vigo is one of the greenest cities in Spain, so take advantage of an exclusive Vigo holiday package deal to see if it is true. You'll be captivated by its O Castro park, with a spectacular castle and gardens, as well as being the perfect vantage point for the best views over the estuary. The Castrelos park, with its impeccable French and English-style gardens won't disappoint either. What's more, it is home to the Pazo Quiñones de Leon museum, where you can admire 20th Galician art while you wander around the pazo, a typical Galician stately building.

If something defines Vigo, it is its impressive estuary, as the city is nourished by it in all senses so why not take a flight + hotel to Vigo package deal to discover it for yourself. You'll find pretty inlets and long sandy beaches, such as Samil, whose natural setting is exceptionally beautiful, as it is protected from afar by the Cies Islands natural park Come in summer and discover this spectacular park, where you can enjoy Rodas beach, dubbed one of the best in the world.

Undoubtedly, there is no better way to regain strength than with Galicia's cuisine. In Vigo, you can taste top quality seafood. Go to A Pedra market, in the heart of the old town, and sample the estuary's oysters, washed down with a good Albariño. What are you waiting for to find a cheap Vigo holiday? It won't be hard, as it is well communicated with the rest of the Iberian peninsula.

Nice location with lovely sea views if you walk to the top of the hill with the castle. However, Vigo is somewhat run down due to economic stagnation so I would not recommend more than a few days or stop somewhere more pretty like Santiago.
