"The front desk staff is wonderfully helpful and courteous. Two times they helped us out to our taxi and helped us communicate with the taxi driver to make sure we got to our location. Traditional Chinese breakfast steps away from the hotel and shopping and restaurants all over. Great location and close to Taipei Station. "Checked in quickly. Was given free upgrade to a bigger room due to Expedia Gold benefits. Hotel was very sweet to arrange a birthday cake for my husband. Breakfast was not bad but with limited options of 3 types only with a small salad bar and limited bread options. You can also self service, orange juice, milk or coffee. The bathroom was nice and spacious with a deep soaking bathtub. Bed was king sized but unfortunately had no support and I woke up to backaches and neckaches every morning. Time...

"I found this hostel to be "a posh hostel" and it has a very good location, due to it being situated in the middle of the entertainment district in Taipei. There is a karaoke venue in the building and light sleepers would be wise to bring some quality earplugs with them. Even though I stayed at the hostel during a weekend, I was not in any way bothered by noise from other guests coming back from a night out on the town. The staff kept the hostel clean."

"No dresser (mirror) in the room, only in bathroom which is a little bit inconvenient. Cleaners seem honest as no items were lost, however, it seems that the bed sheets are not being replaced or made during our stay. "

"I love the location! The staffs are friendly and try to do everything to make our stay as comfortable as can be. There are 3 YouBike rental stations within a few minutes of walking…one diagonally across from our hotel. There is a good Taiwanese food place 2doors down, and a 24 hour coin laundry place about 3 minutes walk from the hotel! I will go back again the next time I’m in Taipei!"

"The hotel is in a convenient location with small clean rooms. They switched my room in the middle of my stay to a room with terrible wifi and demanded a surcharge to return to the original room. I asked if I could book my original room in the future they said no could only book from them directly at a higher rate. "
