Located in a nice area near George Washington University, the hotel is near a good amount of dining options and the convenience of a nearby Whole Foods. If you’re visiting on a Wednesday do not miss the Foggy Bottom Market, a nice small farmers market. Its a short walk to the Kennedy Center, a hub for rich history and dedication to the arts like theater, opera, and concerts.
The hotel staff was exceptional and attentive. However, the property itself shows signs of wear; the decor feels dated and some aspects, like the curtains, are noticeably unclean, signaling a need for an upgrade. Despite it the hotel provides a decent and affordable accommodation option in the area. Our stay was enjoyable, and we would consider returning in the future.
