The evening clerk was very helpfull explaining the double shade controls. The Bold coffee was surprisingly good. There were decent options for breakfast. Any noise in the hallway or next door was loud. Luckily, we didn't have neighbors so our evenings were quiet. Our room had some minor maintenance issues: the towel rack was discolored, and toilet paper holder was loose on one side. Otherwise the room was clean and neat.

Provide only a small sheet/blanket. No comforters. Workers don’t speak English. Hot tub was so overloaded with chlorine, it was burning our eyes and we had to leave. No ventilation in pool/hot tub area.

No one was in pool. Even families with kids were in the jacuzzi. Our grandson (15) said there were three hairy looking things on the bottom of pool. Sorry I didn't check it out

Nice, friendly hotel
When we arrived, they were very friendly and offered us a room upgrade without us even asking. We had a very nice large room with a separate area for the bedroom. The room looked clean, however in trying to fix the couch cushions (which also could use an upgrade), we noticed lots of crumbs under the cushions. The king size bed was not the most comfortable either. Breakfast was good for a free "continental" breakfast with both hot and cold food. It was a nice, quiet hotel, even on a busy weekend in the LaCrosse area.

Went to hotel.to relax and swim. Hot tub was not in service, pool had no heat it was freezing! Tv had issues, there was dirt by bed where it should have been vacuumed. We were pretty disappointed! 6

I personally wouldn’t stay here again. Front desk people are nice don’t get me wrong but aren’t attentive. Apon entering my room it smelled. When cutting on water to shower it made a loud noise the entire time I was in there. I just don’t think it’s worth the money they’re charging for. Breakfast was a 0/10, & they don’t have housekeeping at that location. So that bugged me out too.

Not a pleasant stay
After checking in, we went to our room (#211) and it was cold. We set the thermostat on the unit to an appropriate temp (a note on the unit said to set between 75 & 80 which we thought was a bit high). We then went to our family function thinking that when we return the room would be very warm, there was no change. Increasing the temp made no difference, unit continued to blow cold air. I went to the desk and reported the problem. The guy came up and tried to make it work. No luck, said the unit needed to be replaced, but made no offer of a new room. I then said we needed blankets (34deg outside) and he said he'd send some up. A person came a few minutes later with one blanket (we had two queen beds-3 people) but said there were no more blankets. There were many people in the hotel and this was all there was. Apparently nobody had heat?? I also was surprised that the desk chair was a folding metal chair. Every other hotel I've stayed in would provide a comfortable office chair. We were disappointed that the tables in the breakfast area were not clean. We were able to wipe the cleanest one off with a napkin.

Torn furniture and carpeting. Pool and hot tub closed. Without these amenities, there is nothing to do here. It appears as though the current owners are not worried about upkeep, but rather "heads in beds".

Nice place to stay
Our stay was good. The only thing that was really not exceptionally waa there's is No elevator to the second! It makes it very difficult to carry up luggage up not to mention if you are older or have a disability.
